As the newly-elected mayor of a Midwestern city, he’s an anti-authority guy in a position of authority, making him an alternative conservative. Thursday

Keith Alberstadt

Keith Alberstadt grew up the son of a Vanderbilt professor and a craft artist. The result . . . a very clever comic with sharp perception, unmatched creativity, and a treasure trove of unique material. His likable personality and down-to-earth charm invite people into his brand of humor—one that is smart but not brainy and relatable but not hacky. While performing, Keith takes pride in laughing at himself and his “inner dork”, which he attempts to prove is something in all of us. Current events, popular trends, personal details… Keith shares his witty insight on everything, all the while doing it with a mischievous smile that quickly becomes infectious. A regular performer for the U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, Keith has been described as “absolutely hilarious” by Armed Forces Entertainment and “a hidden gem” by the Boston Globe. He’s also a contributing writer for Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update, National Lampoon and various online magazines. Follow him on Twitter and Facebook. Visit his website here.

Friday

Wyatt Cenac

Wyatt spent over four years as a key member of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Before that, Cenac was a writer on Mike Judge’s King of the Hill. No stranger to stand-up, Wyatt’s hour special “Comedy Person” debuted in 2011 on Comedy Central. He also appeared in Mike Birbiglia’s Sleep Walk with Me. Follow him on twitter and through his website.

Costaki Economopoulos

Costaki Economopoulos is a comedian, true, but he’s also a football fan. Those two factors alone make him the perfect candidate to give us a comedic look back at the NFL each week with his new feature that’s also been picked up by The Huffington Post and Bleacher Report. With his Greek heritage, it’s not surprising that he’s been described as a “joke philosopher,” and we’re sure he’s not the only one saying that. Costaki is also a talented joke writer who’s punchlines have been heard on “The Tonight Show,” Showtime, BET, and MTV. Follow Costaki on facebook and twitter. Visit his website here.

Bengt Washburn

When a comedian describes himself as a ditzy, neurotic and logistically impaired “unaccomplished mormon,” chances are he’s got an act that you’d want to see. In the case of Bengt Washburn, that turns out to be true. While Washburn’s every day life consists of being a father of two and a husband of one (surprisingly), his comedy resume includes winning the San Francisco International Comedy Festival and two comedy albums titled “Get Bengt” and “Mormon Meets World.
