We Need Your Granny!
Grannies of America, we need your help. It’s football season, which means it’s time for Chick to pick against the point spread in his infamous, annual NFL Shoe-In of the Week. Since it’s no fun to pick alone, we’re searching for Grandmothers to volunteer to face off against the Chickster each week. If you think you’ve got a Granny that would be great on the air, write us and she might get a chance to pick against Chick and receive a few gifts from BOB&TOM in the process.
Over a decade ago, Chick McGee decided to put his reputation as “The Sports Doctor” on the line, and he began picking NFL games against the spread. It was then that the Shoe-In of the Week was born. We know it is actually spelled "shoo-in," but with Chick have a well documented love affair with athletic shoes, we felt it only appropriate to change the spelling to "shoe-in" to better fit with his fetish.

Employees of Premiere Radio Networks, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) and the Bob & Tom show (the “Radio Show”) (together, the “Contest Entities”), JCPenney Corporation Inc., each radio station contracted to broadcast the Radio Show, and their respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies, divisions, parent companies, officers, directors, agents and advertising agencies, as well as members of the immediate family of any such employees, are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.
2. HOW TO NOMINATE: Submit your nomination by sending an email with your name, your phone number, your nominee’s name, and your nominee’s phone number to the Radio Show at bobandtom@bobandtom.com during the Promotion Period.
Nominations limited to one (1) nomination per person. Winners will be drawn from valid emailed nominations only. Valid nominations must contain all information requested and nominee must meet eligibility requirements. Incomplete and/or multiple nominations will be disqualified. One (1) prize per household. The Sweepstakes Entities will not verify receipt of nominations. By nominating, participants acknowledge compliance with the Official Rules, including eligibility requirements. Responsibility for receipt of nomination rests solely with the participant. All information submitted in nomination emails will be subject to verification. The Radio Show reserves the right to reject and disqualify any nomination discovered to be false or fraudulent, in its sole discretion. In the event of a dispute, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the participant. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses.
3. Winners agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
4. All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of each winner.
5. The Sweepstakes Entities are not liable if prize notification letter is lost in the mail or email is not responded to within the time allowed.
6. All nominations and information become property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
7. By participating in the Sweepstakes, where allowed by law, participants agree that the Sweepstakes Entities may disclose personal information obtained from participants in the Sweepstakes to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes.
8. Any person winning over $600.00 in prizes from the Sponsor will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
9. ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY CIRCUMVENT, DISRUPT OR DAMAGE ORDINARY AND NORMAL OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES, TELEPHONE SYSTEMS OR WEBSITES, OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. RELEASE: Participants release the Sweepstakes Entities, JC Penney Corporation, and their respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies, divisions, parent companies, officers, directors, employees, agents and advertising agencies and all others associated with the development and execution of the Sweepstakes, from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Sweepstakes and the awarding and use of the prizes, including without limitation liability for death, personal injury, loss, and/or disability.
11. Venue and jurisdiction for any claims associated in any way with these rules shall only be proper in the State of California.
