Kristi Takes the Mound
Kristi Lee took the mound at Great American Ballpark in Cincinati, OH Friday night, to throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Cincinnati Reds. She must have brought them some good luck. They went on to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks. >>View the video!

Kristi Lee
The lovely Kristi Lee is not only the prettiest face in the studio, and usually the voice of reason, she's also the News Director of the nationally syndicated BOB&TOM Show. Although she tries her best each and every morning, the boys rarely, if ever, allow her to finish a full news cast before jumping in and turning the headlines into punchlines. Kristi can get in her share of one-liners as well, and has always been a good sport since joining the show back in the early days.

Loyal listener Scott Spear sent us what appears to be the original version of Chick's baby photo. As it turns out, Chick's babysitter was famous bluesman John Lee Hooker.

On the Road With
Chick & Dean

Last Friday after the show, Chick McGee and producer Dean Metcalf embarked on an incredible road trip to Nashville, TN. With the odds stacked against them, would they be able to overcome every obstacle and get Chick to the theater in time for his show? Click here to find out.

Chick McGee
The legendary Chick McGee may be moody, and some may question his work ethic, but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone with better comedic timing or possessing a more dramatic announcer voice. Chick is married to his "current" wife Cathi, who has been featured on numerous bits, most notably "The Nagigator." Though he's often the punchline of BOB&TOM's jokes, he proved his loyalty to the show after some recent heart troubles. Tom bet that Chick wouldn't have open heart surgery "for the show", but in '97, Chick underwent double-bypass surgery and Tom was forced to pay off the $5.00 bet. Chick's attraction to Bob is well known, if not entirely understood. By the way, Chick is also the Sports Director for the BOB&TOM Show.

Dean Metcalf - Producer
Dean Metcalf is one of the most versatile players on the BOB&TOM Show staff. Dean not only produces the BOB&TOM radio show (which is no small feat - size 12's as a matter of fact!), but he is also the lead guitar player in The Electric Amish, and provides the voices for a number of our most beloved call in characters including The Pope, Jumbo the Elephant and Bill, the guy with a woman trapped in a pit. Dean is also an accomplished guitar player, although he'll lie and say he's not very good, he loves bluegrass music, and he is available for parties, receptions, and political rallies.

Join Us In Saying Thanks To Our Men and Women In the Armed Forces
We know that over the holidays hundreds of thousands of U.S. Armed Forces personnel will be overseas fighting the war on terrorism far away from their families, friends and the comforts of home. That’s why the USO, The BOB&TOM Show and NAPA have joined in to show these troops they have not been forgotten. BOB&TOM along with NAPA have produced a new exclusive comedy album, Operation Radio, which has been sent overseas for our troops to enjoy. Along with that, The USO has created Operation USO Care Package, which is a way to send a message of thanks to the troops for their service and sacrifice. Last year BOB&TOM's efforts generated over $350,000 in donations! We urge our listeners to join us in providing support to our troops overseas. For more information visit Operation Care Package!

He's Jeff Saturday!
As the offensive center for the Indianapolis Colts, Jeff Saturday has been an anchor for one of the most high-powered offenses in NFL history. Since 2000, when he became a full time starter, Saturday has been the man snapping the ball to two-time NFL MVP QB Peyton Manning. During his tenure with the Colts, he’s been named to the Pro Bowl twice, to the Football Digest All-Pro Team a few times and the AP NFL All-Pro team as well. He also played in an amazing 85 consecutive games and started 75 in a row, which helped solidify him as the leader of a Colts line that is considered to be one of the best in football. This biggest highlight of his career however, came just last Sunday during the AFC Championship Game against his bitter rival, New England Patriots. Though Saturday had played high school football, and was a star in the ACC playing for North Carolina, he had never scored a touchdown. That all changed when he fell on a fumble in the end zone, helping the Colts earn their first trip to the Super Bowl since moving to Indianapolis. Along with a trip to the Big Game, Saturday also
earned a check from BOB&TOM for $10,000 to give to his favorite charity. Last year, the boys bet Saturday he'd never score a TD during a game which is usually a safe bet for a lineman. But he did, and now B&T will have a little less cash to lose in the casinos down in the Bahamas.

Chick McGee,
Media Darling

Hey Bob, Tom, Kristi & Chick,
I wanted to drop you a line with a link to the news video of Chick stuck at the airport that appeared on the local news. The video is on their website and is called "Snow Wearing Thin On Peoples' Patience." You can see Chick at the 1:09 mark, but don't blink or you may miss him. I also wanted to let you know the show Saturday night in Des Moines was one of the best comedy shows I've been to in a very long time. Everyone was great, but between Chick being a nicer drunk than I would have thought and Dwight Slade being 10x as funny in person made the night a truly unforgettable event.

Golf, Smoking, Boobs and Beer!
What more could you ask for in a weekend? For most men, getting those four things in a year would be worthy of a celebration, but it's just another day for Bob Kevoian. Most of us can only dream of living life the way Bob does, watching porn, teeing off at the Masters, drinking, smoking, and then watching more porn. Who wouldn’t want to be Bob? Don’t get too excited… you know that’s never going to happen. However, you can at least get a taste of what life is like under the LA Hat by enjoying our “I Wanna Be Bob” audio tribute.

Side Note – To get the full effect, strip down naked, put on a Dodgers cap, and pretend you’re listening to these tracks while on vacation at a Nudie Beach.

Thanks Overseas

BOB&TOM donated an additional $10,000 to the USO Care Package fund on Friday, 12/16. That donation along with thousands of generous donations to the USO from our listeners have totalled $384,502. Factoid -
Back in the early 90's, when Chick was still working for free, he needed another job to stay afloat. His prayers were answered when he discovered a knack for capturing cast mates likenesses with his keen eye, and steady pen.

His first drawing, this rendition of Kristi Lee, sold for over $10,000.

Factoid -
Due to the constant FCC raids during the show, a giant wall of stolen hubcaps was constructed around the Friggemall Complex.

Factoid -
At one time, Bob and Tom used to take turns booking guests to appear on the show.

Factoid -
Bob and Tom are looking for copies of a show that disappeared from the archives years ago. This was the episode in which Kristi was on heavy medication and actually agreed to take her top off when asked. She only had two stipulations. One was that she got to do it from the roof of the building.
The other was that everyone else was banished to the ground floor.
