How to tell us
your story...

THE PROJECT
Pretty self-explanatory here. What home improvement project did you tackle?

LIFE BEFORE THE PROJECT
Travel back in time to those days before you started remodeling the kitchen or organizing the garage. How did you survive? What did you think of your home?

REASONS WHY YOU STARTED
Everyone has a vision for their home, but it takes a little extra something to actually get the ball rolling. What made this project one you had to finish? Did it have any personal significance? Was there a change in your life that pushed you to get started?

WHAT YOU DID
It’s all the things between the before and after that make a story interesting. What exactly did you do to make it happen? Did you use any special techniques? Did you have help or was this a project you did on your own?

LESSONS LEARNED
You learn a little something every time you finish a project. It can be something as simple as learning a new way of painting or something more insightful like building relationships or realizing your potential. What did you learn from your project?

HOW THE HOME DEPOT HELPED
Whether it’s something you learned at one of The Home Depot clinics, from an associate,or an installer who helped outfit your home with something you couldn’t quite do yourself, how did The Home Depot play a part in making your project possible?

REACTIONS TO YOUR PROJECT
Along with the thrill of completing a project, how has it made your life easier or better? What were your immediate reactions when you finished? How have other people reacted?
