Speaking For Two
Penn Jillette is the larger, audible half of the famous duo Penn & Teller. For over 25 years, the two of them have been entertaining audiences with magic, comedy and pretty much anything else they set their twisted minds to. Penn is the showman and voice of the group, and with his clown college education and juggling expertise, he perfectly compliments Teller’s silent and sometimes creepy style of magic. Not only have Penn & Teller been selling out live shows in Vegas and across the country for years, they've appeared in a number films, TV series and specials. Currently, Penn & Teller star in the Showtime series Bullsh*t, a show that exposes the frauds and fakes behind things like talking to the dead, alien abductions and feng shui. The new season of BS will begin soon but if you've missed any of the first two season, they are available on DVD.

FACTOID - Penn Jillette was the long time "voice" and announcer for Comedy Central.

FACTOID - Penn is also a musician (bassist), jazz fanatic and outspoken athiest! See his comments on various topics.

Super Bowl Bound
Frank Caliendo first came to our attention as the man behind the best John Madden impression ever performed. But to our surprise, Frank had many more voices in his arsenal than any one comedian should be allowed to have. Each time he joins us in the studio, Caliendo impresses us with a variety of fantastic impressions including Al Pacino, Adam Sandler, Robin Williams, Jim Rome and Ted Knight just to name a few. And the scary part is that if you didn’t know better, you’d think all those celebrities were actually in the studio. When not performing standup comedy, Caliendo can be seen showing off his talents on FOX’s sketch comedy show Mad TV and this weekend on the FOX Super Bowl Pregame Show. Before the Big Game, Frank says he'll be performing the funniest skit he's ever written.

Not Exactly Red
on the Head Anymore

Todd Yohn doesn’t have the red hair anymore, but his new look hasn’t hampered his comedy in anyway. His off the wall antics, improvisational comedy and catchy songs are as funny as ever. If you haven’t seen Todd perform live, you’re missing out on a show that Tommy G. calls one of the funniest he’s ever seen. Yohn is one of the rare performers who can get audiences laughing with just a look or a lip quiver, but he doesn't rely solely on physical comedy. When he joins us in the studio, he comes equipped with his handy guitar and belts out tunes tunes like Orange Barrels, Feminine Hygiene, and Daddy Please Don't Go. He recently appeared on the BOB&TOM album Odd Balls performing the song You Can’t Say… with good buddy Pat Godwin.

Goal Oriented Comedy
After receiving an honorable discharge from the army, dropping out of college, and deciding that a "real job" wasn't the life for him, Danny Bevins chose standup comedy as a career. To him, this was not just something to do to make ends meet. No, Danny was taking the stage with a purpose. His goal was and still is to leave each and every audience emotionally and physically exhausted by the end of his show. He does this by using his cynical world views and childhood tales to laugh them into submission. However, if his comedy isn't working, he's always got a backup plan in place. He'll make them watch Old Yeller and then run three miles. Either way, it's always mission accomplished.

FACTOID - At one time, Danny worked as an airline flight attendant

Nobody Can Steal
This Act

Before he was a pitchman for making collect calls, Carrot Top was the wacky prop comic with the big red hair. Actually, he’s still all of those things, but now he’s appealing to a much larger audience. Famous for his outrageous inventions like the high heels with training wheels for young girls and the three way calling can and string, Carrot Top has become one of the top draws in America. He performs for 15 weeks at the MGM Grand in Vegas as well as over 100 concerts around the country each year which involve fog machines, light shows and flame cannons. When Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson first began his comedy career, he was lugging a trunk full of props from show to show. But after 15 years of performing he now travels with an 18-wheeler, and 35 trunks full of gags. Along with starring in a few feature films, Carrot Top recently released a new comedy DVD, Carrot Top Rocks Las Vegas.

FACTOID – Carrot Top’s father, a NASA scientist, used to teach moon-bound astronauts how to drive the Lunar module

FACTOID – Carrot Top has appeared on The Tonight Show more than two dozen times.

Drew Hastings
Down On The Farm

There are only a handful of comedians that we refer to as ‘good friends of the show,’ but it’s hard to find a guy who deserves this title more than Drew Hastings. One of our favorite and most frequent guests, it’s never boring when Drew stops by. Whether he’s telling us about his life on the farm or showing up in the latest in metrosexual fashion he never fails to give us more material to tease him about. Currently Drew is working on expanding his one-man show “Life & Other Short Stories,” and creating a mockumentary based on his alter ego, Jack Freeman.

The Nuge is Back
On Tour!

When he’s not busy hunting, hosting a reality game show or fighting for any of the numerous causes he’s involved with, Ted Nugent can still pick up a guitar and rock out with the best of them. He’s proving that this year as he and fellow singer/songwriter Toby Keith hit the road on a 14-city concert tour. Last year these two teamed up to entertain our troops in the Middle East, but this time around it’s their fans here in the States they’ll be performing for. Nugent is almost as famous for his music as he is for his love of all things outdoors. He’s become an expert on big game hunting, archery and firearms and has written a number of books on these subjects. For a short time, he also hosted a
Survivor type reality show where contestants had to survive for over a month on his ranch.

FACTOID – Ted Nugent’s wife Shemane was pictured in the 2005 Great American Conservative Women Calendar.

FACTOID – Ted Nugent is a regular writer and contributor to more than 30 publications.

Will He See His Shadow?
Tim Cavanagh has always believed in giving each and every holiday its due respect. He's put a lot of thought and effort into making sure that almost every event that appears on the calendar is covered in his extensive catalogue of songs. Tim has written touching tributes to Columbus Day, Cinco de Mayo and both Equinoxes to name a few, but don't think it's just the so-called "lesser" holidays that get his attention. Every so often he'll put together a dedication to one of the big days, the heavy hitters of the holiday world. Say for instance, the day when rodents inform us how much longer winter will last, Groundhog Day. If you’re a VIP Member, you no longer have to wait for your favorite day to roll around, you can listen to Tim anytime by visiting his VIP audio page.

FACTOID – Before entering into standup comedy, Tim Cavanagh taught religion at an all-girls high school.

Hickey Head
One thing you can count on whenever Ralph Harris stops by the studio is that it's going to be a good time. Whether he's performing as his glazed donut loving Uncle Mosley or being offered a career opportunity as Tom's personal assistant, Harris never fails to make the most out of each visit. A Tonight Show veteran, Harris does much more than just tell jokes on stage, he acts them out. During a performance he's constantly developing and transforming himself into new and interesting characters which means when he starts reliving his childhood memories he doesn't just talk about his relatives, he becomes them. Ralph's natural chameleon-like ability has helped him land a few high profile appearances on television including specials on HBO and Comedy Central and a role on the legendary sitcom, Seinfeld.

Side Note - Ralph's new CD, "Hickey Head," is available now from the BOB&TOM Store!

The NFL Song -
Super Bowl Edition

It's finally here. The game 32 teams played an entire season to get to, Super Bowl XXXIX, takes place this Sunday and will feature the NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles squaring off against the AFC Champion New England Patriots. The Eagles finally made it to the Super Bowl after coming up one game short on three straight occasions. On the other hand, the Pats have hoisted the Lombardi trophy two of the past three years. Tom Brady, the QB of the Patriots enters this game with an undefeated lifetime post-season record, which is one of the reasons why his team is the favorite to win. However, the two championships that the Patriots have won were both predicted to be blowouts, yet each was won with a last-second field goal. Will this year 's game follow suit, or will it be the lopsided match up people are predicting? Duke Tumatoe will share his thoughts when he presents the Super Bowl XXXIX edition of his weekly NFL Song.

He's Zany So You
Don't Have to Be

After a seven day break, comedian Bob Zany is once again ready to do what it is he does best, deliver The Zany Report. Though he's often denied the laughter his jokes truly deserve, Bob hasn't given up hope that one day he'll present a perfect Report that will require zero fixing. Hey, Stranger things have happened. In all fairness to Bob, last week's edition was actually pretty good, but just in case Zany doesn't have a repeat performance in him, he'll also come prepared with new installments of "Fix-the-Joke, Baby" and the "Bing Crosby Joke of the Week" to save the segment. Because as everyone knows, things always seems funnier when there are prizes involved.

FACTOID - Bob Zany appeared on "The Gong Show" at the age of 15, and was pulled off the stage mid way through his act. Eleven years later he appeared on the show again, only this time as a celebrity judge.

The Guy Who Eats More
To Weigh Less

Only a select few celebrities reach a stage in their career where they are recognized by just one name, Madonna, Cher and Beyoncé immediately come to mind. And though Jared isn't a pop diva like those other examples, we're sure you're just as familiar with his work. Jared Fogle is the guy who lost a lot of weight by giving up fatty foods like burgers and pizza and in their stead ate nothing but Subway sandwiches for an entire year. You may have seen him talking about this on television; it seems like his ads pop up at least once every commercial break. But Jared has become much more than just the face of this fast food chain, he’s also an inspiration to millions which is why he continues to make hundreds of personal appearances around the country each year.

FACTOID - Jared began his diet in March of 1998 at a weight of 425 lbs. He is now 190 lbs, with most of that weight coming off in the first year of the diet.

FACTOID - For an entire year, Jared ate nothing but a six-inch turkey sub for lunch and a 12-inch veggie sub for dinner.

There's No Topic That Scares Crowe
Using a mixture of intellectual humor and physical buffoonery, David Crowe covers almost everything in the comedy spectrum when he takes the stage. He enjoys sharing stories about putting bumper stickers on other people’s cars just as much as he loves dispensing his views on current events and politics. As the only comedian in history to win both the Seattle International Comedy Competition and the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, Crowe is well respected among his peers, and luckily for him, non-comedians find his act highly enjoyable too. He’s become a favorite on the show and has appeared on three previous B&T albums. Along with being a travel nut, David is an avid soccer fan. His brother is the owner of multiple indoor soccer fields which you can check out by visiting arenasports.net.

FACTOID - David Crowe has visited over 30 countries on five continents.

FACTOID - David Crowe was the kicker on his high school football team
