Etta
May I? Yes You May
When Etta
May enters a room, you know you are in for a good time.
Tipping the scale at a beautiful 200 pounds, clad in a floral
blouse and polyester pants, and sporting a print bandana and
pointy glasses, you may have flashbacks of your high school
lunch lady from your old school or your football coach dressed
in drag. But make no mistake, she more than eye candy, Etta
May is a veritable steamroller of southern sass, that has been
making audiences howl with laughter all over the country.

Not Just Funny, He's Witty
With a Father Knows Best disposition, comedian
Isaac Witty has a clean and original sense of humor that
stems from his interesting childhood. Witty was
the son of Christian Parents that spent a lot of time traveling
around from church to church while little Isaac was forced to
sit in the back on a rocking horse. He is still terrified of
Merry-go-rounds and only attends churches with bars and smoke
lounges.

Sweenz!
According to his media kit, Mark Sweeney is
a "professional comedian." However, his credits include
acting roles in "Boston Public", "The Visitor",
and "Days of Our Lives". He's also acted in several
feature films and assorted independent films. (We assume this
means he's done a lot of porn.) His four years in the US Marines
were either forgettable or he's unable to remember, but he does
remember that at some point that he went to college working about
12 jobs in four years. Since 1989 he's been doing the comedy club

Unpredictably
Funny
Pat Godwins
spontaneity on stage makes his routine a constant guessing game
with a nice mix of standup and a little original music thrown
in. The surprises just dont stop, because when he does
pick up his guitar, you'll have no idea which voice is going
to come out or what he might decide to sing about. Two of his
tunes were featured on BOB&TOM Gone
Wild, including "Nobody Speaks English Anymore,"
and "The Legend of John Fox."

Turn
it to Lopez Right Now Right Now on ABC
When longtime friend of the show, George
Lopez was given his own sitcom, strategically titled, George
Lopez, he wanted to make sure it wasn't your average cookie-cutter
comedy, where all life's problems could be solved in 22 minutes.
He's succeeded. His fresh approach to family comedy is just
one reason that his show made it off the chopping block last
year, while many other debut series were canceled after only
a few episodes. George Lopez,
now in its sophomore season, airs every Wednesday on ABC.

A Race Against Time
Looking through the archives, it's obvious that comedian Tim
Cavanagh can write a song on almost any topic. And even
more amazing is that in the past, he has shown he can perform
these tunes in under a minute. Tim's new album, The
One Minute Song, Vol 2, is round two of battle of Tim vs
Time and ironically features very few songs under sixty seconds
in length. Many of the tunes were performed live on the BOB&TOM
show and includes Reflections on Ted
Williams, Enron and
Two Thumbs Up.

Yes, There are Miniature Cows.
No Bull!

regularly in nature, but wouldn't it be really cool if they were
smaller? This is exactly what Dustin
Pillard was thinking when he decided to open The
Oxen Ridge Ranch, a farm dedicated to
the breeding of miniature cattle. Pillard's little dogies will
be featured on Ripley's

Singin'
Dog Guy
The only thing that might be better than
having a dog, is having a dog that can sing and play the fiddle.
Just ask Doug
Moreland. His canine companion, Jalapeño (Holly for
short), has helped raise him from struggling country singer,
to playing all over the US with her wonderful "voice"
and fantastic fiddlin'. Now Doug and Jalapano are making their
way to the Tonight
Show with Jay Leno to show off their unique chemistry.
FACTOID
Doug Moreland is an accomplished Chainsaw Artist.
He once spent an entire year doing nothing but Chainsaw carvings
to make money to produce his first two albums.
