East Nashville Skyline
At last, fans of singer/songwriter Todd Snider can rest easy because the guy who brought us Beer Run, the song that changed a generation (or at least a considerable number of people), is once again on the road. Snider is currently on a cross country tour, performing his classic fan favorites as well as cuts from his newest studio album. East Nashville Skyline. Make sure to catch Snider when he makes his long awaited return to the Friggemall Building because you never know when he might bust out his next mega-hit like Beer Run, Iron Mike, Statistician's Blues or Vinyl Records. In the meantime, why not check out some of his other tunes on the Todd Snider Audio Page.

FACTOID - Todd Snider came up with the album title for his new CD, East Nashville Skyline, when he told friends that he wanted to come up with something as good as Dylan's album, Nashville Skyline, only focusing on the east side of town.

Bass Talk
with Bill Wyman

For 31 years, Bill Wyman was the bass player for legendary rock band, The Rolling Stones. And though he fondly reminisces about his time spent with the Stones, he says that since leaving the band in 1992 he’s had the time of his life and has become a “little baby Da Vinci.” He’s written four books, has become a successful amateur archaeologist, owns a restaurant, is into photography, and most importantly has started up a new band. He’s new group, The Rhythm Kings was formed when he took some friends into the studio after picking the bass back up. After a few years off, Wyman decided he wanted to play again, only this time with a new, relaxed style. The Rhythm Kings have released five studio albums since then including their brand new CD, Just For a Thrill. Bill has also got a new book out titled, Rolling With the Stones.

Challenging the Status Quo
Equipped with character voices, unusual sound effects, and a knack ad-libbing, comedian Scott Henry has been making a living as a standup comedian for almost 15 years. Though he enjoys working the crowd while on stage in the clubs, Henry's dream is to be in television. This may eventually become a reality because over the past three years he's worked with both ABC and UPN to create a show eerily based on his own life. Henry's sitcom would be about a guy who decides to go back to school in an effort to improve his life. At the same time, he's got to deal with his ultra traditional family who don't agree with his hip, contemporary outlook on life. Scott's been featured on A&E’s An Evening at the Improv, VH-1’s Stand-Up Spotlight, and Comedy Express on FOX. He's also a veteran of the USO and has performed in over 30 countries.

Scott Henry's GREAT GOLF CADDIE web site has a collection of unique items targeted at golf nuts with an insatiable retail itch. Check it out!

Scott Henry's lovely girlfriend Catherine owns "Mona," which specializes in furniture and décor items with authentic antique and vintage pedigrees.

Gross Out
He may look more like a substitute teacher than a standup comedian, but when Mark Gross hits the stage you soon find out that when it comes to comedy nothing is off limits, and no one is safe. Gross has been seen on the Tonight Show and has been featured on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, but Mark's been known to work behind the scenes in Hollywood too. He was a long time writer for the late night talk show Politically Incorrect, and is currently writing for the ABC sitcom Rodney, starring Rodney Carrington, who he also happens to be on tour with. Mark recently recorded his first live comedy album which will be available in early May.

Where in the Midwest is Tim Bedore?
Live from somewhere in the midwest, and hopefully out of his in-laws basement, comes another exciting edition of Tim Bedore's weekly editorial, Vague But True. Over the past few weeks, Tim has phoned in from a number of different places as he's been busy moving from LA to his new home in Minnesota. Though he's been on the move, Tim has continued to make time to share his views on life, society, politics and anything else that might cross his mind. His topics have included past summer vacations, theories on Wal-Mart, his hatred of moving, a global animal conspiracy and the fun you can have with a SkyMall Magazine. When Tim’s not moving or writing new VBTs, he can be seen performing standup comedy in a club near you.

Here's a Tip From Your Uncle Lar
Uncle Larry Reeb is the guy you do your best to keep the kids away from at the family reunions. Everybody has that relative, the one that wanders around the party, dispensing unsolicited, and often frightening advice to anyone and everyone within ear shot. And don't think you can find a topic he doesn't have an opinion on; you could be discussing the joys of raising children, nipple piercing, your last adulterous affair or even football. and Uncle Lar's still got a 'helpful' tip for you. "It's a sick world, and I'm a happy guy," says Reeb. "If this were a perfect world, I'd be unemployed."

First Impressions
When we first met comedian Frank Caliendo all we knew was he was the guy that did the best John Madden impression ever. But to our surprise, Frank wasn't just a one voice wonder, he actually had more great impressions than any one comedian should be allowed to do. Each time Frank visits, he impresses us with a variety of celebrity impersonations including Al Pacino, Adam Sandler, Robin Williams, Jim Rome and Ted Knight just to name a few. The scary part is that if you didn’t know any better, you’d think all those celebrities were actually in the studio. In addition to performing standup comedy, Caliendo can be seen on FOX’s sketch comedy show Mad TV and the NFL on FOX pre-game show. Frank is currently back on the road and will be performing in Raleigh, NC, Wichita, KS, and Clinton Township, MI this March.

Mike's Secret
Public Journal

Mike Birbiglia may not have won the Comedy Central Standup Showdown, but that doesn't change the fact that he's got one of the best comedy acts on tour today. Mike is constantly on the road, and during his travels he enjoys taking notes and recording his thoughts for a feature he likes to call his Secret Public Journal. The legions of adoring fans who have signed up for his newsletter get these entries e-mailed to them on a regular basis, but out of respect for those who haven't joined, we've asked him to call in and share his writings over the phone. Recently, Mike's been taking part in a huge comedy tour with fellow friends of the show Drew Hastings, Henry Phillips and Pat Godwin.

FACTOID - Mike has made a promise to college students that if they hire him to perform at their school, he'll not only make them laugh, he'll also eat at the local Applebee's. Mike's a big fan of Riblets and the Presidentié Margarita.

Fix-the-Joke, Zany
Legendary comedian Bob Zany is set to deliver his eagerly anticipated Zany Report once again and we can barely contain our excitement. Having had a week to prepare, Bob is once again ready to present what he thinks is top-notch material in hopes of creating the biggest, funniest, most spectacular Zany Report of all time. However, if for some reason you aren’t exhausted from laughing when it’s all said and done, Bob's still got BobZany.com to fall back on. It's there that you can test your hand at punch line writing by playing Fix The Joke Baby, and while you're at it, why not pick up one of those "Eat Salmon the Other Pink Meat" T-shirts?

Meet Pete Lee
Pete Lee may be relatively new to standup comedy, but he’s already proven that if you put him on a televised comedy competition, he'll finish as a runner up. Twice he’s been featured in competitions on Comedy Central, and twice he’s placed a runner up, but don't get us wrong, that’s still very good. Self described as an adorable smart mouth with a 12th grade vocabulary, Lee has done a little commercial acting along with developing his blossoming standup career. He’s appeared in television spots for McDonalds and Michelob and just recently released his first comedy CD “Gasmoney,” which was picked up by XM Satellite Radio.
