Short Talk with
Kevin Pollak
Since his first appearance on the show, Kevin
Pollak has become a legend for his piece about interviewing Christopher
Walken. In fact, at his shows, it's become his Stairway
to Heaven. According to Kevin, as soon as he begins the joke,
he can hear the people in the audience start to scoot closer to the stage
and he can see them mouthing the words as he goes. It's become so big
that there may even be t-shirts on the way, In other News, Kevin was
recently involved with an Academy Award nominated short film entitled Our
Time Is Up. When he agreed to be in it, he thought he was
just doing a favor for an up and coming writer/director. Now he's a part
of a highly successful film, and is getting none of the perks. If you'd
like to see this 12 minute short, we've been told it's available for
download on iTunes.

Comedy Police
Comedian Mike Armstrong was such
a bad cop, when he left the police force, three internal affairs
officers had to be let go because there was no longer a need
for their services. Whether he was pulling over motorists to
warn them of speed traps down the road, monitoring birds with
his radar gun or making U-Turns to avoid arriving on the scene
of an accident, Armstrong personally
helped strain police relations with the public without even
trying. He may have struck fear in the hearts of everyone in
town when he was working behind the badge, but now that he's
a civilian and making a living on stage we all feel a whole
lot safer. Mike just recently released a brand new comedy album, Comedy
Police, which is available at
the BOB&TOM webstore.
You'll buy it if you know what's good for you.
FACTOID -
After performing his set at the huge BOB&TOM Comedy Show,
Mike Armstrong received a standing ovation from the crowd.

And Now Some Jokes That Are Safe For
Radio
Due to his notorious reputation and all the stories that circulate about
him, we're always a bit nervous to hear that comedian John
Fox will be our guest in the studio. Fox is a legend among his peers
in the comedy community for being one of the dirtiest (yet one of the
greatest) joke tellers ever. But don't think it's all just an act, Fox
is even more notorious for his offstage antics, including his fondness
for hookers, porn, booze and leaving every "comedy condo" he
stays in a mess. One of the things John isn't notorious for is his singing,
however, he is featured as the lead vocal on the song Pissed
Again which appears on the BOB&OM album, Happy
Hour.

Hickey
Head
One thing you can count on whenever Ralph
Harris stops by the studio is that it's going to be a good time.
Whether he's performing as his glazed donut loving Uncle Mosley or being
offered a career opportunity as Tom's personal assistant, Harris never
fails to make the most out of each visit. A Tonight
Show veteran, Harris does much more than just tell jokes on stage,
he acts them out. During a performance he's constantly developing and
transforming himself into new and interesting characters which means
when he starts reliving his childhood memories he doesn't just talk about
his relatives, he becomes them. Ralph's natural chameleon-like ability
has helped him land a few high profile appearances on television including
specials on HBO and Comedy Central and a role on the legendary sitcom, Seinfeld.
Side Note - Ralph's
new CD, "Hickey Head," is available at the BOB&TOM
Store!

To
Be Viewed Only
After the Kids Have
Gone To Bed
Can't sleep? Neither can Dave
Attell. Not while he's still hosting Comedy Central's adult themed
program Insomniac.
For the past few years, viewers have been able to follow Dave as he toured
around the world performing his comedy. However, unlike most comedy specials,
the standup was only the beginning. After his act, the cameras followed
Attell's late night adventures through various cities that were famous
for their outrageous nightlife. Last year, Dave filmed a two-hour concert
film, Dave
Attell's Insomniac Tour Presents Sean Rouse, Greg Giraldo & Dane
Cook, which aired on Comedy Central but is now available on DVD.
And if you're also an insomniac, and need something else to watch after
the kids go to bed, Dave's also got a solo DVD, Hey,
Your Mouth's Not Pregnant.

DVD That Looks Great in an Easter Basket
Comedian Jim Gaffigan is
on a roll as of late. Not only has he just released his hilarious new
comedy album, Beyond
the Pale (which he believes to be the perfect Easter Gift),
and is appearing in a new Comedy Central stand up special by the same
name, he was also a star in one of the top rated Super
Bowl ads this year. Gaffigan has became one of our favorite comedians
over the past few years and he's been featured a number of times on the
past two B&T albums. He's also no stranger to television. Jim starred
in the short-lived comedy Welcome to New York,
and has made guest spots on Law & Order, Sex & the
City, That 70's Show and Ellen.
For those of you who live near a theater, you may want to start checking
their schedule soon because Jim Gaffigan has just embarked on a nation
wide stand-up comedy
tour. If he's coming to your town, get your tickets as soon as they
become available because he a must see.

Comedian vs. Conspiracy
Since Tim
Bedore's popular segment, Vague
But True, has become a regular
feature on the BOB&TOM show, certain topics seem to pop
up on a regular basis. One of the most popular subject matters
has been the secret war raging between man and beast which
Tim has dubbed the "Animal Conspiracy." The first
installment of this larger work appeared on the album B&T Camel
Toe almost two years ago, but as the news stories keep
adding up and listener e-mails keep rolling in, Tim has had
no choice but to continue informing the masses about this
ongoing battle. Will the battle
continue in this week's report? You'll just have to tune
in to find out.

As the Crowe Flies, or Drives
Using a mixture of intellectual
humor and physical buffoonery, David
Crowe leaves no subject uncovered when he takes the stage.
He enjoys sharing stories about putting bumper stickers on
other people’s cars just as much as he loves dispensing
his views on current events and politics. As the only comedian
in history to win both the Seattle International Comedy Competition
and the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, Crowe
is well respected among his peers, and luckily for him, non-comedians
find his act equally as enjoyable. He’s one of our favorite
guests, has appeared on three previous B&T albums and recently
took part in the huge BOB&TOM Comedy Show that will be
airing on Comedy Central
FACTOID - David Crowe is an avid traveler
and has visited over 30 countries on five continents.
FACTOID - David Crowe was the kicker
on his high school football team
