Third
Time's a Charm
If you were to say that Jeff
Foxworthy made a good decision to leave his $30,000 a
year job to go into standup comedy, we sure wouldn’t
argue with you. Having taken his redneck brand of southern
comedy into almost every form of media imaginable, there
aren’t many folks out there who haven’t heard
the phrase “you might be a redneck if…” That
phrase has spawned an entire catalogue of words that have
different definitions in "southern speak" which
is why Jeff has compiled The
Redneck Dictionary. Along with this project, Jeff is
also the author of a number of best selling books, the star
of Ace Award winning comedy specials, starred in his own
sitcom (on two different networks), is the first comedian
to ever have an album go triple platinum, the host of a weekly
countdown radio show, and is the founder and star of The
Blue Collar Comedy Tour. For those of you who haven't heard
of this tour, where have you been? It's only the most successful
comedy tour of all time, and to capitalize on this, the guys
are releasing their third
DVD, CD and comedy Comedy Central special.

AKA
Miggy Smalls
Miguel
Washington is a guy who’s got a lot to talk about.
Whether he’s discussing his observations, beliefs or
something he just read in the paper, Washington likes to
be heard. Luckily his audiences seem to enjoy listening to
him, which is one of the keys to being a good standup comedian.
For over 10 years, Washington has been playing everywhere,
including biker bars, comedy clubs, cruise ships and campuses
spreading his words of wisdom and comedic one-liners to anyone
who would hear them. On a larger scale (on the small screen),
Miguel’s been seen performing his standup comedy on NBC’s Friday
Night, BET’s Comic
View and Showtime
at the Apollo. Miguel also performs
a lot of Christian specific comedy shows. For more info on
these, check out savedbygracecomedy.com

For the Road
Comedian Ron
White has been performing stand-up comedy for many, many years
now, but it was only after he participated in the Blue Collar Comedy

in his own WB special, sold over 500,000 copies of his first comedy DVD
(They
Call Me Tater Salad), and has been featured on The
Late Show with David Letterman, Blue Collar TV, Premium Blend and Comedy

also got charm, humor, and a ton of experience on

Hart
Attack
One might wonder how Kevin
Hart can find the time to maintain his highly regarded standup
routine when he’s being kept so busy acting in Hollywood. Hart
was recently featured in the movies The 40 Year
Old Virgin, Scary Movie 3, Along Came Polly and Soul
Plane, and starred in the ABC sitcom, The
Big House, but he continues to tour around the country, performing
on campuses and in clubs. Kevin began his career as a shoe salesman in
Philadelphia, but his heart wasn’t in it (we were going to say
it wasn’t in his “sole,” but that pun would have been
even worse). Hart did this until he discovered his true calling at an
amateur night at a local comedy club, and he’s been performing
full time ever since.

Larry Reeb Changes Name To Larry Reid
and Sneaks Up On Last Comic Standing!
"Uncle" Larry
Reeb has undergone an amazing transformation,
reinventing himself in order to take a shot at becoming The
Last Comic Standing in the show's 2006
edition. Either that or the entertainment geniuses
at NBC think his name is Larry Reid, and no one has
pointed out the error. Either way, America will choose
the "Last Comic Standing" as NBC's Emmy-nominated
series kicks off a new season of laughs and surprises
searching for what they think are the funniest comics
in America. Anthony Clark ("Yes, Dear") hosts
as series kicks off with talent executives Bob Read
and Ross Mark, talent executives for "The Tonight
Show with Jay Leno," traveling across the country
in a nationwide search for the best professional and
aspiring comedians. The BOB&TOM Show is officially
endorsing "Uncle Lar" so click, drag and
scroll as necessary to vote
for "Uncle" Larry Reid, or

Since releasing his new album, Beyond
the Pale (which he believes to be the perfect gift for
anyone at anytime) Jim

Northern
Exposure
Standing a towering 6’3” and weighing in at over 200 pounds,
you may be a little intimidated by Tim
Northern when you first meet him. But once this gentle giant opens
his mouth, you realize that the only thing you have to be worried about
is laughing too hard. With an obscure sense of humor, Tim presents his
standup comedy with an articulate, smart and deceptively witty style.
For most performers, saying 'I love y'all' to the crowd is just another
line to get a cheap pop, but spend any time listening to Northern speak
and you discover he's sincere. Tim’s a regular performer on the
national comedy club circuit and was chosen to appear on CBS's Star Search
where he advanced to the finals.

Live
From His Home, It's Tim Bedore
It's been neraly seven days since
we last visited with comedian Tim
Bedore, which is why we're so eager to have him
back on his special line ready to deliver another
exciting edition of Vague
But True. Live from his
home in Minnesota where he's seated comfortably at
mission control, Tim shares his thoughts on life,
society, politics and his day to day activities,
presented in the form of in-depth, entertaining editorials.
Over the past year, these musings have helped us
learn a lot about Bedore, including his thoughts
on downloading movies, why he thinks women are the
cause of all wars, the fun he had finding odd names
in the phone book and his theory on how animals are
trying to wipe out our species.

The Zany
Report, Now With 13.5% More Laughs
After a nice long Memorial Day
weekend, comedian Bob
Zany is poised to return to do what it is he
does best, The Zany Report.
Though he's often denied the laughs his jokes truly
deserve, Bob hasn't given up his personal mission
to deliver a Report that
requires zero fixing. Hey, it could happen.
In all fairness, last week's Report was actually
very good, but just in case Zany doesn't have a repeat
performance in him, there will be new installments
of "Fix-the-Joke, Baby" and the "Bing
Crosby Joke of the Week" to save the segment,
because everything seems funnier when there are prizes
involved.
