Here's Your Host, Jimmy Pardo
Comedian Jimmy
Pardo commands respect, and maybe some day hell get
it. Even though hes a well-accomplished standup comic
with a number of impressive credentials on his resume, Jimmy
still feels like we dont always give him the love he deserves.
Perhaps all that will change now that Jimmys joining the
ranks of game show legends Bob Barker, Dick Clark, and Bob Eubanks
by hosting the brand new game show, National
Lampoons Funny Money. Pardo
was selected to host this standup comedy themed program because
of his unmatched razor-sharp wit, crowd control abilities and
most importantly, rugged good looks. Funny Money premiers on
the Game
Show Network Sunday, June
15th.

Ripped From
the Headlines
After performing standup comedy for over 20 years, it would
be easy to let your act get stale. Thats not the case
when it comes to comedian Carl Wolfson.
Its not hard for him to keep his act new and fresh because
he finds comedy every time he reads the paper or watches the
evening news. According to every bio ever written on Wolfson,
hes performed thousands of times (numbers vary depending
on the bio) in hundreds of clubs but he continues to be one
of the most popular headliners on the comedy circuit, and his
News Update Slide Show is something not to be missed.
FACTOID
- Carl Wolfson used to perform a weekly news rundown on the
short lived late night talk show Thicke of the Night, hosted
by Alan Thicke

Living A Dream
George Wallace dreamed of becoming
a standup comedian since he was a teenager. Though he spent
the early part of his career climbing the corporate ladder in
a mass-transit advertising firm, Wallace never lost focus of
his goal. Once he finally felt comfortable enough to take the
stage, it didnt take long before being discovered by Hollywood.
Soon Wallace was writing for television where he got his start
in entertainment as a writer for the
Redd Foxx Show. Soon he was landing movie roles, but
he never stopped perfecting his standup act. Now George Wallace
is considered to be one of the best in the business, which is
why he was featured alongside many other big names in Jerry
Seinfelds documentary, Comedian
as well as a number of guest-starring credits including
In The Heat Of The Night, Tall
Hopes and The Fresh Prince Of
Bel Air, just to name a few.
We couldn't find George's personal site but he's
featured on a host of premiere comedy and film sites including:

Little
Timmy Wilson
No comedian causes more controversy when they enter the studio
than the southern singer/songwriter, Tim
Wilson. His brash outlook on everyday aspects of life, and
the fact he has no problem speaking his mind, have caused BOB&TOM
to air a disclaimer almost every time Wilson opens his mouth.
Not to say we dont find him hysterically funny, we just
do everything in our power to disassociated with him. Aside
from his unique voice (that makes him sound like a chain smoker
in his 60s), the 40-year-old comedian is well known for
his love of NASCAR.
Tim has tackled almost every aspect of the sport including the
hideousness of Dale Jarretts car, being born a NASCAR
fan, and Jeff Gordons sexuality.
Want to hear some of these great tunes? Check out the Tim
Wilson Audio Page
FACTOID
In a bizarre bit of irony, one of Tim Wilson's early
hit songs was titled Garth Brooks Ruined My Life.
This tune later helped him sign with Garths record label,
Capitol Records Nashville, in 1998.

Turn
Out the Lights, The Mowin's Over
Yard-Man
Brad Hauter has done the impossible
again. He mowed
his way from coast to coast, spreading peace, love, awareness
and mulch for the Keep
America Beautifuls Great American Cleanup. Leaving
San Francisco in early March, Brad made his way across the country,
finishing his mega mow in New York City early this month. Along
the way, Brad had his mower stolen near the Alamo, but was given
a new ride to complete his epic journey. Hauter and his custom
mower (it goes better than 30 mph) are on their way to the Friggemall
complex to give us all the dirty details of the trip. And hopefully
before he goes, hell demonstrate his technique on the
overgrown grass outside our building.

Creating
New Disney Classics
Since joining with Disney, Pixar
Studios has created the best-animated feature films released
in recent years. The Toy Story
Series, Monsters Inc, and
A Bugs Life have all been mega hits, and set the standard
for computer animation technology. One of the men behind these
films is Andrew Stanton. Besides
writing all five of the Pixar/Disney feature films (including
Tommy Gs favorite, Toy Story 2),
he's also directed a few
as well. In the most recent release, Finding
Nemo, Stanton adds another credit to his name by providing
the voice of Crush the Sea Turtle.

Have All of Our Presidents
Been Swingers?
From the best (JFK and FDR) to the worst (Coolidge and Reagan),
and even the cheaters (Clinton and LBJ), author Don
Van Netta has the inside scoop on the most powerful men
in American history, and their golf games. The game of golf
has been a big part of every US Presidents time in office
since it was first introduced
but that doesnt mean
they were all good at it. Many of our leaders used the game
of golf to get work done, others to demonstrate power, and some
as an escape from the pressure, but all of them hit the links,
and Van Netta can tell you how, why and what they shot in his
book First
Off the Tee.
