60 Shows, One Birthday
Sammy Hagar, legendary rock star and founder of Cabo Wabo Tequila (one of the finest Tequilas in the world), is celebrating his birthday in a unique way, with a sixty city US rock tour. But just like last year's "Livin' It Up" tour, this isn't just a rock concert, it's also one of the biggest parties of the summer. When The Red Rocker comes to town, he's also bringing his Cabo Wabo Village with him, meaning the party starts before the show even begins. It only gets better from there as the opening act is former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony’s Mad Anthony Express performing early Van Halen numbers and a variety of early rock classics. Next, fans will be treated to a performance by Los Tres Gusanos which will play early Sammy Hagar songs and, finally, Hagar and Anthony will come together as The Other Half, performing a number of Halen tunes from the "Van Hagar" era. For more information on where and when the party is headed for your town, visit www.redrocker.com. |

The Bill Engvall Show, Starring Bill Engvall
It was over a decade ago that Bill Engvall first became famous for his “Here’s Your Sign,” standup routine, and though that phrase helped launch into pop culture, it still can't compare with the fame that came from being part of the fab four known as The Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Along with Larry the Cable Guy, Ron White and Jeff Foxworthy, Engvall took over the comedy would with tours, TV Shows, CD's and best selling DVDs. And while the Blue Collar shows may be over, Engvall hasn't slowed down a bit. After dabbling in movies with Larry the Cable guy in Delta Farce, Bill is set to return to TV in his very won TBS sitcom, The Bill Engvall Show. He also recently released a new comedy CD, 15° Off Cool, which is available everywhere.

Big Laughs
When it comes to comedians, Jim McCue is head and shoulders above the rest. This is mostly due to his freakish six foot six frame, but even in the joke department he ranks pretty high. Jim McCue has been featured on Comedy Central and Comcast Comedy Spotlight, and he's also worked in clubs, colleges corporate gigs and overseas for the troops in Iraq. Along with working the stage, Jim has done a pretty good job behind the scenes too; he’s the founder of The Boston Comedy and Movie Festival.

Recently, Leo got to try his hand at acting by playing a detective in the boxing film, NBT.

Comic on the Rise
It hasn’t taken long for Josh Sneed to make a name for himself as a standup comedian. In fact, it was just a few short years ago that he gave up his ‘regular job’ at Procter & Gamble to pursue his dream of entertaining audiences across the country. He's appeared on numerous standup-based comedy programs including Comedy Central's Premium Blend and Ed McMahon’s Next Big Star (where he finished 2nd out of 175 comedians). Though he’s a comic on the rise, Sneed’s also dabbled in acting and writing. He wrote and starred in the film Let Me Be Blunt, was cast in a national commercial for the University of Kentucky and was once hired as the head comedy writer for a minor league baseball team.

Heywood Ya Play Us a Song?
Heywood Banks has been a fixture on the BOB&TOM show almost from the very beginning, which is why it's no surprise the "Toast" loving singer/songwriter was once again featured on the most recent project, Man Boobs. Armed with his ever-tuned guitar, and an adequate grasp of his hysterical lyrics, Heywood will be joining us in the studio to do what he does his best; make everyone's early mornings bright by not only singing a few of his classics like Big Butter Jesus, Wiper Blades and 18 Wheels (if he can remember them), but he'll also be premiering a brand new tune! Heywood also just released the brand new album, Big Butter, which is available with all his other CDs at comedyhome.com |

Old Enough to Drink?!
When comedian Dan Bougler first arrived on the scene, he left a lot of people asking, “who the hell is this kid?” But after winning the Boston Comedy festival in 2006, at the ripe old age of 20, his name is one that people will begin taking notice of. Since then, Dan has been featured on Comedy Central, BBC, and the HBO Aspen Comedy festival, and now that he’s 21, his future looks even brighter because now he can drink after his shows. |

Costaki Talk
If the name didn't tip you off, comedian Costaki Economopoulos comes from a Greek background, which is why it's not surprising he's been described as a joke philosopher. And we're positive he's not the only one saying that. Known for his clever writing, Costaki's punch lines have been heard on The Tonight Show, BET, and MTV. In other news, he's released his first comedy CD, C'mon It's Jokes, and is dating the beautiful and funny comedienne, Caroline Rhea. |

Vague But True
Whether he's in the studio, on the phone, or live on his special ISDN line, comedian Tim Bedore joins BOB&TOM every Wednesday to bring us a new edition of his popular weekly feature, Vague But True. In these musings, Tim talks about whatever is on his mind at the time, whether that be politics, life lessons, spring breaks, or stories on how animals are trying to wipe out the human race. But no matter the topic, folks all over the country are glued to their radios waiting to hear what Bedore has to say.

The Intellectual Buffoon
Using a mixture of intellectual humor and physical buffoonery, David Crowe leaves no subject uncovered when he takes the stage. He enjoys sharing stories about putting bumper stickers on other people’s cars just as much as he loves dispensing his views on current events and politics. As the only comedian in history to win both the Seattle International Comedy Competition and the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, Crowe is well respected among his peers, and luckily for him, non-comedians find his act equally as enjoyable. He’s one of our favorite guests, has appeared on three previous B&T albums and delivered a killer performance at the BOB&TOM Comedy Show that was recorded for Comedy Central.
FACTOID - David Crowe was the kicker on his high school football team

Wake Up, Sleepy Carl
Whether on the phone or in the studio, we’ve been treated, for longer than we can remember, to comedian Mike Birbiglia's writings, also known as his Secret Public Journal. In these musings, Mike's covered everything including his infatuation with pizza, problem with sleepwalking, brother Joe, fear of bears and alter ego "Sleepy Carl." Will this next entry cover one of these favorite topics, or might it be something completely new? Only Mike knows for sure. Well, until he reads it to a national audience, that is.
