Positively Negative
Milo Tremley is the self-proclaimed "dean of human relations," and attempts to use his comedy as a tool for teaching young couples in ways of love. Though he does his work with good intentions, he has a knack for coming up with new ways to ruin perfectly normal, and otherwise happy relationships. Tremley's message of love is taught through his laugh out loud comedy mixed with his tongue-in-cheek music, most of which is featured on his album Professor Milo. His songs include such love ballads as Go Ugly Early, Bitchy Women and The Barf Song, making his albums one of the most sought after comedy CD’s among recent divorcees and bitter ex-lovers everywhere. And keep an eye out for Milo's new album They're-A-Pist due out in August

Tim Bedore:
A Stand Up Guy

Over the past 20 years Tim Bedore has spent thousands of hours entertaining audiences. He began his career on the radio but soon discovered that he preferred the type of instant feedback only a live audience can provide. That's when he decided it was time to move into standup comedy. Since then, Tim's headlined comedy clubs across the country and is one of the few comedians who's comedy is just as funny on paper as it is on stage. Bedore has written and recorded over 250 editions of his popular editorial, Vague But True, many of which he's read on the air. A handful of these, such as his installment on The Animal Conspiracy, have been featured on past BOB&TOM albums.

Beware of Aug
The ranting, raving, gun fighting comedian from Montana, Auggie Smith is heading back to the studio and we can only assume he's traveling by horse. From the first moment we met Auggie, he became one of our favorite young comedians, and his comedy pieces on drinking, Bed Bath & Beyond and leading a religious cult have become classics. Because Aug finds his material in the absurdities of everyday people, situations and politics, he's never had a problem finding new targets on which to aim his comedy six-shooters. Be warned, if you listen to Smith's ranting long enough, you too will find yourself following "The Word of Aug." But is that really such a bad thing? In other exciting news, Auggie will be taking part in the ever-growing Friends of the BOB&TOM Show Comedy Tour later this year.

Side Note - You can now purchase Auggie's brand new CD and DVD, Cult Following, on his website.

Lasting Impression
When we first met comedian Frank Caliendo all we knew was he was the guy that did the best John Madden impression ever. But to our surprise, Frank wasn't just a one voice wonder, he actually had more great impressions than any one comedian should be allowed to do. Each time Frank visits or calls us on the phone, he impresses us with a variety of celebrity impersonations including Al Pacino, Jeff Goldblum, Norm McDonald, Jim Rome and Ted Knight just to name a few. The scary part is that if you didn’t know any better, you’d think all those celebrities were actually in the studio. In addition to performing standup comedy, Caliendo can be seen on FOX’s sketch comedy show Mad TV and the NFL on FOX pre-game show. Frank will be in ohio the next two weeks, at the columbus funnybone and cleveland's hilarities.

Once a Marine,
Always a Marine

If you ask him, or check out his media kit, Mark Sweeney will tell you he's a "professional comedian," but that hasn't always been the case. You could call Sweeney-San a jack of all trades considering he's served as a bus boy, construction worker, real estate agent, bartender and copier repairman. He's also been an actor, appearing on TV shows like Boston Public, Third Rock From the Sun, and Days of Our Lives. But looking through his resume, the occupation that stands out most is the four years he spent in the US Marines, or as he puts it, a full time job partying around the globe.

FACTOID - Mark Sweeney is the oldest of six children, which he equates to being the emcee at a comedy club. You come out cold, have to break the ice and everyone expects you to suck

Ready For Liftoff?
Dr. David Wolf, our resident expert on everything outer space, is a decorated member of NASA. And though blasting off into space is cool in its own right, he's done quite a bit on his home planet too. Wolf holds 11 US patents, has more than 20 awards for three-dimensional tissue engineering technologies and has earned several inventors' awards. But there is one dream he has yet to fulfill. We know that deep down Dr. Wolf has secretly always wished he had become a DJ, so we've invited him to call us up give us the low down on what's going on with the upcoming space shuttle launch. The shuttle was supposed to have blasted off last week, but was cancelled due to a fuel sensor problem. We'll see if we can get Dr. Wolf to give us the latest on this first trip back into space since 2003.

Live From New York,
It's Jesse Joyce

Jesse Joyce began his standup career in the comedy clubs, but not in the way you'd think. His first gig was actually as a janitor, working at the Pittsburgh Funny Bone cleaning up bathrooms and scrubbing urinals. In between cleanings, Joyce was perfecting his craft and eventually traded in his mop for a microphone, becoming the club’s emcee. Once Joyce had outgrown his gig as an opening act, he made the move to NY to pursue his theater acting, writing and standup comedy careers. His standup has been featured on
Entertainment Tonight, the short-lived Jokevision Network and on Lifetime, and he’s won two Addy awards for commercial writing.

FACTOID – Jesse Joyce’s uncle was a clown in The Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Circus and his great uncles were founders of the International Juggling Association.

Zany, Bob Zany
Legendary comedian Bob Zany is set to deliver his eagerly anticipated Zany Report once again and we can barely contain our excitement. Having had a week to prepare, Bob is once again ready to present what he thinks is top-notch material in hopes of creating the biggest, funniest, most spectacular Zany Report of all time. However, if for some reason you aren’t exhausted from laughing when it’s all said and done, Bob's still got BobZany.com to fall back on. It's there that you can test your hand at punch line writing by playing Fix The Joke Baby, and while you're at it, why not pick up one of those "Eat Salmon the Other Pink Meat" T-shirts?

Bill Scheft Joins The Beer League
Over the years, comedian turned sports columnist
Bill Scheft has become a fixture on our phone lines, but you may have noticed he's now a regular on our website. His column “The Show” is no longer in Sports Illustrated, however, it can still be found right here at bobandtom.com. In addition to his column, Scheft is the author of the critically acclaimed novel, The Ringer, which takes a comedic look at the life of a “professional” corporate softball league ringer. Also on bookshelves, you can find Scheft's new book, The Best of The Show which includes Scheft's favorite columns along with many of the jokes that were cut from before they went to print. Recently, Bill was involved in the filming of the upcoming movie Beer League, which is the first film he's been in on purpose. Scheft did appear in Tootsie, but that's another story.
