Always
on Tour
Derek
Trucks is not only a great guitarist, he is also a very
busy man. Not many artist could handle playing 365 concerts
in a two year period with two different bands, but somehow he
found a way. Dereks rise to greatness began when he bought
his first guitar at a garage as a child. He began touring at
age 11 and formed his first band when he was only 12 years old.
Years later, Trucks formed the Derek
Trucks Band, a group that blends jazz, rock, blues, Latin
and Indian music into one unique style. In 1999, Derek doubled
his duties when he was offered the chance to join his boyhood
idols, The
Allman Brothers, as their slide guitarist, and he continues
to play with them today. Joining Derek in the studio will be
bassist Oteil Burbridge.

Biggest
Little Comedian In The World
Reno
Collier began his career in comedy like most comedians do,
as a physical education teacher. Well, maybe there arent
many other stories that begin like his, but it worked for Reno.
Unable to support himself on a teachers salary alone,
he began working nights as a bartender in a comedy club. Little
did he know that one night he would discover his true calling
after being called up on stage by comedian Anthony Clark. After
that, Collier gave up the gym for the stage, and his whistle
for a microphone. Collier recently appeared on the comedy based
game show, National Lampoons Funny Money with Jimmy Pardo.

Sean
Morey's Dark Side
For the most part, comedian
Sean
Morey's songs usually contain very heartfelt and well thought
out messages. His tune Ghost Chickens
in the Sky examins poultry's plight
against the farmer's ax, his Man
Song discusses the power struggle
between men and women, and On
the Internet is all about how hard
it is to find love in today's society. The messages may not
sound as profound with his banjo in the background, but if you
can get past that, these songs could possible change your life.
Although, the last time Sean stopped by, we got his evil twin...
a much darker, moodier, and raunchy Morey. Which one will show
up today?

Cheap
Trick Live from the Static Shack
After experimenting with different arrangements and band names
guitarist Rick Nielsen, and bass
player Tom Petersson combined
with drummer Bun E. Carlos, and
singer Robin Zander to form the
classic rock band Cheap
Trick, in 1977. Since then, Cheap Trick has been all over
the music charts, released gold and platinum albums an, built
large, loyal following and continue to put on one of the most
entertaining and energetic live shows touring today. In fact,
it was their live album, Budokan,
that turned them into celebrities with their first top ten hit
“I Want You to Want Me.” Cheap Trick carved out
a niche for themselves by combining British guitar pop, heavy
metal, punk, and a flair for the absurd. Their new album, Special
One, was just released this July, and they’ll be playing
old classic and new cuts when they perform on the BOB&TOM
Show live from the Static Shack Studio.

Unpredictably
Funny
Pat Godwins
spontaneity on stage makes his routine a constant guessing game
with a nice mix of standup and a little original music thrown
in. The surprises just dont stop, because when he does
pick up his guitar, you'll have no idea which voice is going
to come out or what he might decide to sing about. Two of his
tunes were featured on BOB&TOM Gone
Wild, including "Nobody Speaks English Anymore,"
and "The Legend of John Fox."

Lord Help Us
Lord Carrett
sounds more like a late night infomercial vegetable slicer than
a standup comedian, but put your credit cards away because he’s
no kitchen accessory. Lord Carrett is the reigning “king”
of comedy, and he promises that “Heads will Roll…
with laughter” once he gets going. Carrett is very clever
comedian and a master of misdirection whose punch lines seemingly
come out of nowhere. While telling a story, or setting up a
joke, Carrett brilliantly manages to keep you guessing as to
where he’s headed, while at the same time charming you
with a killer smile and the best hair in comedy.

on the phone, but he's our most eagerly anticipated guest each
