The King of Clean
Comedian A.J. Jamal is
a lot of things, but lazy isn't one of them. He's known as one of the
hardest working comedians out there having conquered television, film,
concerts, and comedy clubs with his engaging, G-rated comedy. His broad
appeal is evident when looking at the variety of television programs
he’s appeared on including The Tonight Show,
Comic Justice, and In Living Color along
with standup specials on HBO and Showtime. A former I.B.M. computer engineer,
Jamal's taken his analytical and perceptive comedy to every conceivable
venue from Radio City Music Hall to college campuses across the country.
But he’s got more going on than just his standup act, Jamal’s
also an accomplished filmmaker, animator, and president of his own animation
company.

Keeping Things Real
While many comedians find the need to make up stories or create elaborate
characters to make people laugh, David
Beck can do it by keeping things real. He’s been
able to find the funny in everyday life by using nothing more than
his warped view of the world around him. David also tries to
separate himself form the pack by keeping things clean as well as
positive. It’s not to say that he performs a G-rated
show, it’s just that he can discuss adult topics without having
to turn to salty language for a punch line. David has also
been popping up on TV as an actor having appeared on The Prosecutors,
New Detectives and The FBI Files.

He Cuts His Own Hair
According to Eddie
Ifft, all it took was one magical open mic night in a comedy club

a full-time career. His father tells the story a little different. In

and has never looked back. From Comedy Clubs and Colleges to hosting

Breaking Out is Hard To Do
Convinced that his wayward brother was wrongly
convicted of the sensational murder of the Vice President’s
brother, which landed him on Fox River State Penitentiary’s
death row, a desperate Michael Scofield attempted a daring
bank robbery in order to get himself incarcerated in Fox River
with Lincoln. Michael, an engineer with access to the prison’s
structural design, then masterminded an elaborate plan to free
Lincoln by pulling off the ultimate PRISON
BREAK. Aided by an intricate tattoo of the prison’s
blueprints covering his upper body, Michael was able to break
out of prison and start hunting for the lost treasures of infamous
skyjacker D.B. Cooper (who just happened to be locked away
in that same prison). Now in it's third season, Prison
Break is just as exciting and confusing as ever, which
is why we've got Dominic
Purcell on the line to help clear things up. |

Collin
Moulton
If energetic, funny, and familiar are three traits you look for in a
standup comedian, then Collin
Moulton is a guy you want to see. But don’t go in there
just thinking you’re going to get an hour full of standard jokes
because that’s not his style. His shows also mix in a full
helping of physical comedy, personal observations and if your lucky,
original comedy songs.

Let's Talk to Costaki
Over the past few months, Costaki
Economopoulos has been calling in to treat us to a new regular feature
that for the longest time didn't have a name or a premise, but those
minor details have been fixed (for now) as it's now known as "The
Economonologue." Known for his clever writing, Costaki's able to
take the things he sees and hears in everyday life and turn turn them
into comedic observations you won't be able to believe you haven't thought
of before, and will never be able to forget. |

Here
He Is...
It's been a long seven days since we last visited with comedian Tim
Bedore, which is why we're so eager to have him back on his special
line ready to deliver another exciting edition of Vague
But True. Live from his home in Minnesota where he's seated comfortably
at mission control, Tim shares his thoughts on life, society, politics
and his day to day activities, presented in the form of in-depth, entertaining
editorials. Over the past few years, these musings have helped us learn
a lot about Bedore, including his thoughts on downloading movies, the
joy one can find in a SkyMall magazine, his time spent at summer camp
and his theory on how animals are trying to wipe out our species.

The
NFL Song: Week 2
Week one of NFL action has come and
gone but don't worry if you missed any of the previous
week's action because Duke
Tumatoe's back with another
edition of the NFL Song. After
only one game in the books, experts area already narrowing
the field of competitors down to a few possible champions
including the Patriots, Chargers and Colts (who all won
big games this week), but there is still a long way to
go which means Duke better be ready to report on a long,
long season.

Master of
the Cell Phone Ring Tone, Frank Caliendo
You May recognize Frank
Caliendo as a long time star of MAD
TV, as the comic relief on FOX
NFL Sunday, or even from his multiple appearances on The
Late Show with David Letterman. Actually, on second thought,
maybe you don't. If his face doesn't look familiar, it's probably
because Caliendo is a master impressionist who spends more time
on screen portraying other people than he does as himself. Caliendo's
impressive impressions include celebrities like Al Pacino, Jim
Rome, Adam Sandler, Robin Williams, Ted Knight, Jeff Goldblum,
and a John Madden so good you could swear it was the real thing.
See the video with Bob Costas from last week's NFL on FOX program.

Secret Stories From His
Public Journal
Whether on the phone or in the studio, we’ve been treated, for
longer than we can remember, to comedian Mike
Birbiglia's writings, also known as his Secret
Public Journal. In these musings, Mike's covered everything including
his infatuation with pizza, problem with sleepwalking, brother Joe, fear
of bears and alter ego "Sleepy Carl." Will this next entry
cover one of these favorite topics, or might it be something completely
new? Only Mike knows for sure. Well, until he reads it to a national
audience, that is.
