Keeping
You Up All Night
Can't sleep? Neither can Dave
Attell. Not while he's still hosting Comedy Central's adult themed
program Insomniac.
For the past few years, viewers have been able to follow Dave as he toured
around the world performing his comedy. However, unlike most comedy specials,
the standup was only the beginning. After his act, the cameras followed
Attell's late night adventures through various cities that were famous
for their outrageous nightlife. Dave recently filmed a two-hour concert
film, Dave Attell's Insomniac Tour Presents Sean
Rouse, Greg Giraldo & Dane Cook, which will be premiering
on Sunday, October 2 on Comedy Central. Dave is also promoting his own
all new comedy DVD, Hey,
Your Mouth's Not Pregnant.
FACTOID -
Dave Attell is the voice of the commentator on the video game
Outlaw Golf 2.

Hey Abbott!
Peter
Bergman joined The Young and the

for his work on Y&R, winning the coveted award in 1991,
1992 and 2002. Bergman was also honored with the Soap Opera
Digest Award as "Outstanding Lead Actor" in 1992
and 1993. In addition, he was the recipient of the MVP Award
from Soap Opera Update in 1991, 1992 and 1994. Additionally,
Bergman guest starred in the television film Kojak,
and in the television series The Five

Now
Found in the Fiction Aisle
Steve Schirripa,
who plays Bobby Bacala, Baccillieri on
the HBO hit mob drama The
Sopranos is taking his persona beyond the small screen...
again. After the success of his first book A
Goomba's Guide to Life, which
took a comedic look at what it's like to live the life of
an Italian, Schirripa decided to take a dive into the realm
of fiction writing. His new novel, Nicky
Deuce, follows the adventures of a young italian boy
that finds himself falling into mob life. Along with his
writing, and the filming of the sixth season of The Sopranos,
Schirripa can be seen on Tuesday Nights hosting Casino
Cinema on Spike TV.
FACTOID -
Though Steve Schirripa is a big man to begin with,
he was asked to wear a fat suit during his first
two seasons of The Sopranos.

They
Call Him Tater Salad
Comedian Ron
White has been performing standup for many years now, but
it was only after he participated in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour that
his career truly took off. Since that time, Ron has starred in his own
WB special, sold over 500,000 copies of his first comedy DVD (They
Call Me Tater Salad), and has been featured on The
Late Show with David Letter, Blue Collar TV, Premium Blend and Comedy
Central Presents. Ron doesn't so much tell jokes as he tells stores,
which usually involve his love of adult beverages or being kicked out
of somewhere (with one usually leading to the other). White’s not
one to shy away from stating his point of view. He's blunt, and may be
bit obnoxious, but he's turned those personality traits into one of the
most successful comedy acts going today.

Pile
On the Comedy
Few comedians have the honor of performing
in their very own HBO one-hour comedy specials, but Richard
Jeni joined an even more elite group of standup comics
when he starred in his third. But
this should come as no surprise considering Jeni possesses
one of the best comedy acts on tour today. Richard is a Tonight
Show veteran, appearing with both
Johnny and Jay, has starred in his own UPN sitcom, and appeared
in the movie The Mask with
Jim Carey. Jeni also has the distinction of having appeared
on The Tonight Show with Jay
Leno more than any other standup
comedian in history. Richard will be performing in
St. Louis at the Touhill Performing Arts Theater on Friday,
September 30th
FACTOID – Richard
Jeni says a guy becomes a standup comedian
in the same way a woman becomes a prostitute.
You start out doing it for a few close friends,
then you move onto larger groups, then you
figure, hey, I might as well get paid for
it.

Russian
Roulette Anyone?
Most comedians claim to have come from bizarre backgrounds, but Wild
Bill Bauer is proof positive of what can happen when you grow up
around unstable relatives. A brilliant writer with a unique and manic
delivery, Bauer combines his outlandish observations and peculiar personal
tales into a comedy act that is hilariously shocking and a lot like an
episode of Jerry Springer. Known to the BOB&TOM community as the
guy with the uncle who plays Russian Roulette, Wild Bill Bauer is one
of the few guest comedians that made an appearance on BOB&TOM's Greatest
Hits Vol. 1 album. Recently, his bit
Uncle Arnie Plays Russian Roulette was made
into a film that was featured at the Gangrene Film Festival in Utah.

Mr.
Haney
Rob Haney has
been a good friend of the show and a frequent visitor the the
studio for many years. And though he's an extremely funny guy
and a great joke teller, the most fun we have whenever he stops
by is pointing out how cheap he his. And by cheap, we mean
he'd squeeze a dollar so tight George Washington would scream.
Along with that alarming personality trait, Haney's well known
on the show for his poem about personal hygiene (which can
be found on the obscure B&T album Factory
Air) and his Talking Dog Joke )which
is available on the album Gone
Wild).
FACTOID -
Rob Haney owns his own comedy club, Wileys,
in Dayton, OH

Hey Mr. Wilson
Steve Wilson is only 34 years old and yet he’s been performing
standup comedy for 18 years. After doing the math, that means he’s
been working since the young age of 16. Of course, when you find out
he was raised by eleven women, it’s easy to see why he was in such
a hurry to get out of the house. Steve has been featured on BET, was
chosen as the Funniest Man in New York in 1988 and has an unhealthy addiction
to PlayStation, young girls and the Buffalo Bills.
FACTOID – Steve
Wilson is the roommate of fellow comedian and good friend of
the show Ralph Harris

The Animal Conspiracy Continues
Over the past 20 years Tim
Bedore has spent thousands of hours entertaining audiences.
He began his career on the radio but soon discovered that
he preferred the type of instant feedback only a live audience
can provide. That's when he decided it was time to move into
standup comedy. Since then, Tim's headlined comedy clubs
across the country and is one of the few comedians who's
comedy is just as funny on paper as it is on stage. Bedore
has written and recorded over 250 editions of his popular
editorial, Vague But True, many
of which he's read on the air. A handful of these, such as
his installment on The Animal Conspiracy, have been featured
on past BOB&TOM albums.

The
NFL Song - Week 4
Week four of the NFL season
has come to a close, and who better to recap
all the gridiron action than Duke
Tumatoe with his popular, bluesy musical
review, The NFL
Song. Finally, we got
some exciting games this week with many of them
decided by last second field goals. In other
news this weekend, Big Ben was beaten for the
first time in the regular season by the Patriots,
the Indy Colts once again won with defense, Eli
Manning traveled back to the town he denied in
the draft and Bret Favre is 0-3 for the first
time in his career. This
puts a lot of pressure on Duke to fit all this
week's action into one exciting song. And don't
forget about the always entertaining variety
show, Bass
Talk, and a recap of Chick's Shoe-In picks.

It's
Not a Diary
It's his Secret Public Journal, and
every word is true. We've got him on the phone and he's
going to read to you. He's Mike
Birbiglia! Isn't it nice when the musical intro to
a feature explains the entire premise? Though the format
is the same each week, the content is always something
new. Ripped from the pages of his personal journal, Mike
tells us tales about his adventures on the road. And whether
they're about his pizza, having to eat god-awful pretzels,
or his brother (now known as Joe-Bags) Mike delivers them
with a raw enthusiasm you just can't find anywhere else.
When he's not busy writing, Mike can be found performing
on the FRIENDS
OF THE B&T SHOW COMEDY TOUR. He's also constantly
adding new content to his website such as links to have
his journal entries mailed
right to you.and his childhood
greeting cards.

Technically
Funny
When not manning the Budweiser Freshness hotline and keeping the world
safe from skunky beer as the famous “Bud Delivery Guy,” Don
McMillan spent his time becoming a nationally recognized, headlining
standup comedian. Aside from his work in commercials for Budweiser, 7-11
and Little Caesar’s Pizza, Don has become one of the premier corporate
comedians, and as far as we know, the only standup that comes equipped
with PowerPoint. With his geeky background as an engineer for the likes
of IBM and AT&T, Don is leading the way in technological humor, the
best of which can be found on his new comedy album Technically
Funny. Those of you who prefer you comedy to be presented
on screen, you can look for Don in the feature film, Don:
Plain and Tall.
FACTOID - Don
is reportedly one of the best golfers on the comedy circuit.
