Whatchu Want?
If you watch comedy competitions on television, there’s a very good chance you’ve seen comedian Geoff Brown perform. Brown won the Star Search comedy competition in 1994, was featured on seasons one and three of Last Comic Standing, was a performer on Spy TV and has popped up on a number of sitcoms over the years. Before he entered standup comedy, Geoff was a member of the US marines, and though his fellow soldiers loved the way he kept cracking everyone, his superiors thought his talents would be better utilized as a civilian, in places where he had no access to heavy artillery.

Dwayne Perkins Has Been Around
Dwayne Perkins may be young, but he’s already a seasoned veteran of the comedy business. From appearances on Late Night With Conan O’Brien and Premium Blend, to his own Comedy Central Presents special, Perkins is no stranger to television. He’s also no rookie when it comes to acting. Not only has he been in a number of commercials, he’s also appeared in the movies The Gristle and Target Audience 9.1.

Dwight Slade

Finding Comedy in Everyday Annoyances
When Dwight Slade takes the stage, he's out for more than just laughs; he does his best to become the voice of the little man, attempting to fight for the average Joe, stick it to 'the man' and score a little payback for all of life's daily humiliations. Is that so much to ask? Whether it's taking on roadside memorials or people who talk to loud on the plane, Dwight's got your back, and he's speaking your mind. Slade got his start working with comedy legend Bill Hicks back in his home town of Portland, but has since made a name for himself headlining comedy clubs, hosting his own radio show and releasing two successful comedy albums, including his newest one, The Evil Monkey.

Tom RhodesInternational Man of Comedy
From New York to San Francisco to London to Amsterdam, comedian Tom Rhodes has seen it all. A 20-year veteran of standup comedy, Rhodes has paid his dues on the road and in Hollywood but is now reaping the benefits. He began his career in the Deep South, but knew he’d have to take his act to the coasts if he was ever to hit it big. Out in San Francisco, he was picked up by a then young Comedy Central to host the critically acclaimed show, Viva Vietnam. Later he was “discovered” by NBC and placed in an ill-fated show named Mr. Rhodes. The failure of his first sitcom is what led him to head overseas where he enjoyed huge success, doing standup in London and hosting a Tonight Show type program in Amsterdam.

The Economonologue
Comedian Costaki Economopoulos may be the star of our most oddly named segment, but it also happens to be one of the funniest. Since it's debut a few months ago, The Economonologue, as he's dubbed it, has covered a variety of topics including strange superstitions, odd phobias and the origin of clichés. Costaki's able to take the things he sees and hears in everyday life and turn turn them into comedic observations you won't be able to believe you haven't thought of before, and will never be able to forget.

And Now a Few Words From Tim Bedore
It's been a long seven days since we last visited with comedian Tim Bedore, which is why we're so eager to have him back on his special line ready to deliver another exciting edition of Vague But True. Live from his home in Minnesota where he's seated comfortably at mission control, Tim shares his thoughts on life, society, politics and his day to day activities, presented in the form of in-depth, entertaining editorials. Over the past few years, these musings have helped us learn a lot about Bedore, including his thoughts on downloading movies, the joy one can find in a SkyMall magazine, his time spent at summer camp and his theory on how animals are trying to wipe out our species.

NFL: The Musical
After a wild weekend of football, is there any better way to catch up on all the action than through song? We didn't think so either, which is why we've once again asked Duke Tumatoe's to join us in the studio to talk about the weekend that was and fill us in on all things NFL with his aptly named NFL Song. Why ESPN hasn't caught on to this tradition we have no idea.

It's Not the A-Team, It's Mike Birbiglia
Whether on the phone or in the studio, we’ve been treated, for longer than we can remember, to comedian Mike Birbiglia's writings, also known as his Secret Public Journal. In these musings, Mike's covered everything including his infatuation with pizza, problem with sleepwalking, brother Joe, fear of bears and alter ego "Sleepy Carl." Will this next entry cover one of these favorite topics, or might it be something completely new? Only Mike knows for sure. Well, until he reads it to a national audience, that is. If you you happen to see a van that looks a lot like A-Team's ride driving through your town, don't worry it's not Mr. T, it's just Mike Birbiglia in the middle of his cross country tour.

Fix-the-Joke, Zany
It’s time again for everyone’s favorite weekly feature, The Zany Report starring comedy legend Bob Zany. In case you’re new to the show or are unfamiliar with the concept of The Zany Report, we’ll explain how it works. Every Tuesday, Bob Zany calls in to deliver a handful of jokes based on current events and comical news stories. Though his intention is to present a report that is hilarious from top to bottom, it doesn’t always work out this way. Of course as good hosts, BOB&TOM are always kind enough to point out which of his jokes came up a little short in the laughs department. This is where you the listener come into play because Zany then invites a lucky fan to call in and fix one of his flat punch lines in a little game he calls Fix-The-Joke Baby! Sounds easy, doesn’t it? To find out more, got to bobzany.com, baby!

Funny Lady
Debra DiGiovanni is one of Canada's fastest rising stand-up talents. Her comedy has a sharp edge while maintaining a playful, happy air and her persona is one of the best developed of any comic working today. Couple that with a hilarious act that is so personal everyone can relate and you see why Debra is so popular; her humour and charm lies in her unflinching honesty and openness. Debra is a sought after headliner and accomplished voice performer; and can be heard on CBC radio for a bi-weekly rant, and seen on Muchmusic as a favorite judge on the hit show Video On Trial. She and fellow VOT judge and comedian Trevor Boris, are presently enjoying an Ontario stand up tour through spring 2007. Watch for Debra on Last Comic Standing Season 5 where she has recently become a top ten finalist!

Historical Comedy
In the world of the BOB&TOM Show, Scott Dunn has become famous for his celebrity roasts and the ability to turn any event in history, no matter how obscure, into a comedy routine. So far he's skewered Ben Franklin, the Burr Hamilton dual, the Louisiana Purchase, George Washington, first Thanksgiving, and even the funeral of Abraham Lincoln. Now each Monday, Scott surprises us with a new history lesson in which you're guaranteed to laugh and might even learn a little something too.
