6, 2004 Here's a Tip From Your Uncle
Lar
Uncle
Larry Reeb is the guy you do your best to keep the
kids away from at the family reunions. Everybody has
that relative, the one that wanders around the party,
dispensing unsolicited, and often frightening advice
to anyone and everyone within ear shot. And don't think
you can find a topic he doesn't have an opinion on; you
could be discussing the joys of raising children, nipple
piercing, your last adulterous affair or even football.
and Uncle Lar's still got a 'helpful' tip for you. "It's
a sick world, and I'm a happy guy," says Reeb. "If
this were a perfect world, I'd be unemployed." |

Notoriously Vague, But Surprisingly
True
Now that Tim
Bedore's popular segment, Vague
But True, has become a
regular feature on the BOB&TOM show, we can't
wait to find out what the topic of each new installment
will be. Whether the inspiration
for his editorials has been ripped from the headlines
or is based on his own life experiences (such as
last week's look at radio and television), you know
Bedore will be reporting them each week from his
dinning room, comfortably seated in a big blue beanbag
chair. Bedore
is currently performing his standup as part of the Four
Stand-up Dads comedy tour.

The
NFL Song - Week 4
Week four of the 2004 NFL season
is in the books, but don't worry if you missed a
single second of it because Duke
Tumatoe's here with his NFL
Song to help you play a
game of catch-up. It's like TiVo, only without the
nifty picture or instant replay feature. It was quite
a week of football with the Patriots still riding
their record-breaking winning streak, the Chiefs
earning their first W, Emmit Smith looking like a
kid again and David Carr finally able to cut his
hair now that the Texans have won two in a row. This
leaves a lot of material for Duke to work into one
song so don't you dare miss it, or else it might
be you that gets 'sacked' during halftime of MNF.
Plus, don't miss the always exciting Bass
Talk, and perhaps another one of Chick's halftime
reports.

5, 2004 I Know That Voice from Somewhere
Known almost as much for his voice over work as he is as an actor or standup
comedian, Gilbert
Gottfried has been doing all three for many years. When he began
his career as a standup comic, Gilbert was a standout among his peers
thanks to his trademarked whiney voice and squinty eyes. Now he’s
using those same tools as a voice actor. Some of Gilbert's biggest roles
include starring in Disney’s animated classic, Aladdin (which
is finally being re-issued on DVD) as the sarcastic parrot Iago, as a
compulsive dog in the remake of Dr. Doolittle and
as one of the prank phone callers on the hit Comedy Central program, Crank
Yankers. You might also recognize Gottfried as the duck from the
popular the Aflac Insurance commercials.
FACTOID – Gilbert
Gottfried began squinting his eyes when performing out of nervousness

The Last Comic Standing
When John Heffron's
parents found out that he'd been skipping night school classes in order
to pursue his dream of performing stand-up comedy, they weren’t
thrilled. But how were they supposed to know that one day this truant
teen would climb the ranks of the comedy world and eventually win the
second season of NBC's Last
Comic Standing. With a fresh, youthful appearance and the
outlook of a man trying to figure out life as a grown up, Heffron is
one of comedy's rising talents. Before he became a reality TV star, John's
other television credits included appearances on The
Tonight Show , Premium Blend and NBC's
Friday Night. Recently, John's been facing off against the comedians
from the first season of Last Comic Standing in
the series' third season, and has been working on his first Comedy Central
standup special.
SIDE NOTE -
John Heffron is one of the two comics behind the "That
Guy Game!" which has become a popular pastime at bachelorette
parties everywhere.

Putting
the "F" in Comedy
The Zany Report is
back and only the kickoff of the 2004 MLB
playoffs could possibly compare to the excitement
it brings. Bob
Zany, legendary comic and all around
great guy, has confirmed that there is a
possibility that this could be his greatest
edition of the Zany
Report ever! If it's anything like
past reports, prepare to laugh, at least
once. Plus, get ready for another round of "Fix-the-Joke
Baby" which will most likely feature
a joke from last week's Report.
