Michael Ian Black began his career with "The State," a sketch comedy troupe he co-founded at New York University in 1988, which went on to have a successful run on MTV. Since then he's go on to co-create a number of Comedy Central programs, and star in a few more including "Ed," "Stella," and Viva Variety." Outside of the small screen, Black is also a successful screenwriter ("Wedding Daze" and "Run Fat Boy, Run") and stand-up comedian. You may also recognize him from his many appearances on VH1's "I Love the..." series.
