Already developing a reputation as one of the world’s greatest guitar players, Joe Bonamassa is also evolving into a charismatic blues-rock star and singer-songwriter. With the release of his new album The Ballad of John Henry (his ninth solo project and seventh studio album) Bonamassa has upped his game by mixing British Blues and Delta sounds while at the same time showing off his vocal range. Joe began his career in the early 90s with the rock-blues group Bloodlines, but has since gone on to a successful solo career. He was named Guitar Player’s “Best Blues Guitarist” in 2007 and 2008, has hit #1 on the Billboard Blues charts and received a 2008 nod for Album Of The Year from the U.K.’s prestigious Classic Rock Roll Of Honour Awards. Joe also recently released the brand new DVD Joe Bonamassa Live From Royal Albert Hall.
