 Super Comedy Troopers
Individually they are Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske but together they form the filmmaking comedy team Broken Lizard, the men responsible for the films Super Troopers and Beerfest. The guys formed Broken Lizard over a decade ago while attending school at Colgate University. After graduating, they took their act to New York where they soon found themselves in the movie making business, writing and directing their first film, Puddle Cruisers. That film went on to a number of festivals, but it was their second film Super Troopers that really put them on the map, making $20 Million at the box office and selling over 5 million copies on DVD. The guys are currently putting the finishing touches on their newest movie, The Slammin’ Salmon, and touring the country with a live stage show.
