Imagine That

Before being approached for the film Sideways, Thomas Haden Church had pretty much retired from acting and was content to live and work on his ranch in Texas. But after taking the part, he was thrust back into the spotlight when he was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in the film. Since then, Church has gone on to star as Sandman in Spider-Man 3, won an Emmy for his role in the TV movie "Broken Trail" and has become the new voice of VW television ads. Church is also starring in the new Eddie Murphy film Imagine That, which opens this Friday in theaters everywhere.
