The Return of Pauly Shore

When your father is not only a comedian but is also the owner of the world famous comedy club, The Comedy Store, there is a pretty good chance you're preordained for a life in the entertainment industry. For Pauly Shore that opportunity came in the early 90’s when he exploded onto the scene with a popular standup comedy act, a show on MTV, and starring roles in multiple blockbuster movies. To put it simply, Pauly Shore was everywhere. Then came the late 90’s, a period in which he was dubbed “The Dethroned King of dumb-ass comedy.” But this would not be the end of Mr. Shore. Instead, he fought back with the mockumentary Pauly Shore is Dead, and reinvented himself for a return to standup comedy. He also recently starred in the new film Adopted, which you can own on DVD now.
