John Witherspoon
Bang !Bang! Bang! Bang!Though many actors in Hollywood do their best to avoid being typecast, comedian John Witherspoon has made a living doing just the opposite. Known as one of the funniest dads in movies, Witherspoon has forged a career playing the wacky and scene-stealing father in a number of hit films including the Friday trilogy, House Party, Boomerang, Little Nicky and I’m Gonna Git You Sucka. Witherspoon’s acting work can be traced back to such TV classics as "WKRP in Cincinnati" and "Barnaby Jones," but somehow he’s been able to remain relevant in a town that’s always focused on finding the next best thing. Not just an actor, John Witherspoon is an accomplished standup comic who can make you laugh with nothing more than a look, or his catchphrase “Bang!Bang!Bang!Bang!” Don Barnhart
Standup comedian Don Barnhart was one of the first ever graduates of the Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles. Since earning his diploma (we're assuming you you do in fact get a diploma), he’s built a career touring the world, headlining comedy clubs over 200 nights a year and dispensing his brand of physical facial expressions, witty, off-the-wall observations and upbeat, fast paced, improvisational comedy. In addition to his work on stage, Barnhart is also an accomplished actor and director. Along with a couple of national commercial spots, Barnhart wrote, starred and directed the movie China Dolls. He's also been seen in the films Species, In the Army Now and Apollo 13.Auggie Smith
When you see Auggie Smith on stage, he may sounds like he's just manically ranting about whatever's pissed him off that day, but in actuality, every part of his act has been a meticulously crafted, well thought out and intelligently dissected into a rapid fire, seamlessly style of raving comedy. Smith has been spreading the "Word of Aug" for over a decade now, and audiences are flocking to his shows to hear more. Along with a very popular DVD and CD set, Auggie is veteran of the BOB&TOM Comedy All-Stars Tour, has been showcased at the Montreal Comedy Festival and has appeared in a number of radio and TV commercials. In other news Auggie just won the San Francisco and Seattle Comedy Competitions, making him the only person ever to win both in the same year. Auggie's new CD "Smell The Thunder" is also now on sale. Though recently featured as one of Entertainment Weekly's 12 comedian's to watch in 2009, we've known how great comedian Roy Wood, Jr. is for some timenow. He was featured on the first ever BOB&TOM Comedy Central special, is a regular on our Comedy All-Stars tour, and is a frequent guest in the studio. Known for his love of chicken nuggets and knack for prank phone calls, Wood is a regular contributor for a number of radio stations, was a semi-finalist on Star Search, has been featured on "The Late Show with David Letterman" and HBO. You can also find him on the new TBS sitcom "Sullivan & Son." Roy on twitter and facebook.
