Earthquake
Shaking With LaughterUnlike most comedians, the man known as Earthquake didn’t study to become a comedian, or even get the urge to do it after being inspired by guys like Carlin, Cosby and Pryor. No, Earthquake says his decision to go full steam into standup was just "the best decision that day." At the time of making this life changing choice, he was in the middle of an 11-year stint as an enlisted sergeant in the US Air Force. Since then, he’s become one of the most talked about talents in comedy today. He’s been featured on HBO, Comedy Central, BET, and UPN, and has appeared on shows like Real Time with Bill Maher, Everybody Hates Chris and The Dennis Miller Show. If you’re still not done shaking with laughter after hearing him on the show, why not pick up a copy of his new DVD, It’s About Got Damn Time. Heywood Banks
Anyone who has ever spent any time listening to the BOB&TOM show has no doubt heard a song by legendary comedian Heywood Banks. That’s because Heywood’s catalogue of classic tunes includes fan favorites like "Big Butter Jesus," "I Like Summer," "Toast," "18 Wheels on a Big Rig," "Punjab" and "Wiper Blades" just to name a few. In fact, Heywood has appeared on 36 of BOB&TOM’s comedy albums, more than any other artist by far. We’ve just been informed that Heywood may be adding to his already extensive list of songs when he visits us next. Now we’re just hoping he knows the lyrics. Check out Heywood in "GeoPirates."
