"Weird Al" Yankovic

Straight Outta Lynwood

For over twenty years, no musician or music style has been safe from the king of pop music parodies, “Weird Al” Yankovic. From the classic hits of Michael Jackson and Madonna to current chart toppers like Emenim and Avril Lavigne, Yankovic has made a career out of taking mainstream music and replacing the original words with his own twisted lyrics. Last year, “Weird Al” released his 12th album, Straight Outta Lynwood, which skewers musicians like R. Kelly, Green Day, Usher and evenAmerican Idol winner Taylor Hicks. The two disc set included a behind the scenes documentary, six new music videos and instrumental mixes of every song.

FACTOID – "Weird Al" got his start in the music industry by sending in self-recorded songs to the Dr. Demento Show. After gaining a cult following, he released his first self-titled album in 1982.

Sean Morey

Comedian Sean Morey has been a friend of the BOB&TOM show for longer than we can remember and his songs have been popping up on our albums since the 80's. But we're not the only ones that enjoy his music; he recently placed first and third in the comedy division of the International Songwriting Contest with his tunes "Dear Santa" and "The A.D.D. Song." Along with those two favorites, Morey is famous for his other tunes "The Man Song," "The Woman Song," "The Man That Doesn't Exist" and "Dickin' Around at Work."
