Thee Geoff Brown
If you watch comedy competitions on television, there’s a very good chance you’ve seen comedian Geoff Brown perform. Brown won theStar Search comedy competition in 1994, was featured on seasons one and three of Last Comic Standing, was a performer on Spy TV and has popped up on a number of sitcoms over the years. Before he entered standup comedy, Geoff was a member of the US marines, and though his fellow soldiers loved the way he kept cracking everyone up, his superiors thought his talents would be better utilized as a civilian, in places where he had no access to heavy artillery.
When Mike Stankiewicz realized that playing for the Duck Inn softball team wasn't going to get him into the "Big League," he decided to try his hand at another profession, stand-up comedy. Since then he's made a name for himself from the east coast to the west coast and everywhere in between. He's also been featured on Comedy Central and A&E, has appeared in a few made for TV movies, and won the prestigious "Best of Philly" comedy competition.
Comedian Pat Dixon spends much of his time in New York City when he's not on the road performing. And while he's there, he often reads thew news. And being that he's a comedian, he can't help but have an opinion on the goings on in the world. And what better outlet for those stories, ripped from the headlines, than the BOB&TOM Show. In other news, Pat Dixon is has a brand new comedy CD titled, Goodbye Forever Fatty that is also now available on iTunes. Follow Pat on twitter and facebook and check out his new podcast, "The new York City Crime Report w/ Pat Dixon."
Comedienne Kathleen Madigan not only has one of the best live acts in the industry, she's also starred in her own HBO and Comedy Central standup specials, developed television pilots, reported for ESPN2, has appeared on "The Tonight Show" over ten times, won the American Comedy Award for “Best Female Club Comic,” starred on Lewis Black's "The Root of All Evil" and appeared on seasons one, two and four of NBC's "Last Comic Standing."
