Jim Nantz
Always By My SideWhen it comes to calling a sports broadcast, very few announcers are as versatile as play-by-play man Jim Nantz which is why he's been the voice of almost every major sporting event on CBS since 1985, including the Super Bowl, the Olympic Games, The Masters and March Madness. Last year Nantz released his first book Always By My Side in which he recounts his relationship with his father and how their common love of sports helped forge a special bond between the two. This best selling inspirational, heartwarming and transcendent story is now available in paperback. FACTOID - Jim Nantz recently won a Sports Emmy for play-by-play broadcasting and was the 2008 National Sportscaster of the Year Melanie Maloy
Funny ChickComedian Melanie Maloy finds it awkward to describe her own act, so she asked us to do it for her. She’s charismatic, energetic, refreshing, “out there,” and according the E! Network, she’s one of the top 50 Funniest People. Maloy enjoys having fun with the crowd when she performs, priding herself on the fact that no two shows are ever the same. And while she doesn’t have a filthy act, she’s by no means G-rated. Unlike most comedians who hide their work from their parents, Melanie was actually encouraged to pursue a career in comedy by her mother who talked her into try an open mic night. Bob Zany
It's time for another exciting episode of the best joke filled, news feature hosted by a stand-up comedian named Bob Zany, The Zany Report. In other news, Bob was recently featured in the Matt Damon film, The Informant! and is the star of the new documentary Close But No Cigar: Bob Zany. Follow Bob on Facebook and twitter.
