Brian Haner

Guitar Guy

After joining his first band at the age of 10, and having his first hit song with Sam The Sham and the Pharos (Wooly Bully), at the age of 16, Brian Haner thought he’d just punched his ticket to a life of success and stardom. But after moving out to Nashville to record a few solo projects, he realized that things weren’t always so easy. It was during this time he discovered that his songs were seemed to be enjoyed more when he played them as comedies. All of a sudden people were buying his albums, only now they were doing so hoping to laugh. In 2006, Haner switched gears and became a full-time comedian, eventually teaming up and touring out with Jeff Dunham. Recently Brian released a brand new album, Cougar Bait, which is available now.

FACTOID – Brian Haner released an album that went Gold in Scandinavia.

The Compliment Guys

The Compliment Guys

Feeling down? Then you need to take a walk through the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN where two guys are making it their business to make people feel better about themselves. Brett Westcott, a sophomore in civil engineering from Plainfield, Ill., andCameron Brown, a sophomore in business management from Toledo, Ohio have gained national attention for their practice of standing out on the street every Wednesday and shouting out compliments to complete strangers. “The Compliment Guys” are not affiliated with any group, nor are they doing this for any other reason than they just like to make people feel better. Maybe your dad could learn a little something from these two.

Bill Burr

For the past decade, comedian Bill Burr has been working hard (performing over 300 shows a year) to establish himself as one of the finest standup comics in the business. It doesn’t matter if he’s performing on "Late Night With Conan O’Brien" or "Showtime at the Apollo;" Bill Burr finds a way to connect with any audience. In his early days of comedy, he did this by making fun of his lunatic father, but these days he covers everything from current events to, well, his lunatic father. Burr has been featured on "The Late Show with David Letterman," starred in two films, and had his own HBO and Comedy Central specials, the most recent of which, Let it Go, is avialable on DVD beginning Oct. 5.

Tim Bedore

For longer than we can remember comedian Tim Bedore has been calling in or stopping by to deliver an editorial in which he talks about whatever happens to be on his mind. These musings can range from his relationship with his daughter, to hot topics in the news, and even updates on how the animal kingdom is waging war on mankind. From the Animal Conspiracy to his daughter Claire, Tim takes us inside his mind, and with the help of a few sound effects, puts together one of our favorite features. He's also a fantastic stand-up comedian and often takes part in the Canadian Mist B&T Comedy All-Star Tour. Follow Tim on Facebook.
