Jim Nantz
Always By My SideWhen it comes to calling a sports broadcast, very few announcers are as versatile as play-by-play man Jim Nantz which is why he's been the voice of almost every major sporting event on CBS since 1985, including the Super Bowl, the Olympic Games, The Masters and March Madness. Last year Nantz released his first book Always By My Side in which he recounts his relationship with his father and how their common love of sports helped forge a special bond between the two. This best selling inspirational, heartwarming and transcendent story is now available in paperback. FACTOID - Jim Nantz recently won a Sports Emmy for play-by-play broadcasting and was the 2008 National Sportscaster of the Year Bill Scheft
A former stand-up comedian, Bill Scheft decided a number of years ago that he preferred writing the jokes to telling them. That's what's made him such a valuable asset to "The Late Show w/ David Letterman," where he's one of the head writers for Dave's famous opening monologues. He also contributed to the new book, The Late Show Fun Facts, authored by Letterman and the other Late Show writers. But this isn't Bill's only published work, he's also the author of three novels, The Ringer, Time Won't Let Me, and Everything Hurts which will be available in paperback on April 6th. His newest book is The Final Four of Everything. Check out Bill's band, The Truants. Follow Bill Scheft on twitter. And if you're a golf fan, you'll enjoy this book Bill put together of stories collected from his Uncle about The Masters. Mr. Skin
He's seen tens of thousands of movies, but doesn't remember a single plot. He's Mr. Skin, the world's foremost authority on female nudity in film, and he's helping his followers learn the true meaning of "double feature." From his humble beginnings as a young man collecting nude clips of hot actresses from PG and R rated movies, Mr Skin has turned his hobby into an empire. His website includes screen shots of naked celebs, movie reviews and his annual Anatomy Awards! So if you're looking for a hard to find clip, or looking for a good rental suggestion for the evening, make sure to check out all the titillating archived data at MrSkin.com. T. J. Miller
After being listed as one ofEntertainment Weekly's "Next Big Things" and one of Variety's "Top Ten Comics to Watch in 2008,"T.J. Miller (AKA Todd Gay Butt Filler) hasn't disappointed. He's starred in J. J. Abrams film Cloverfield, the comedy She's Out of My League and is currently starring opposite Paul Rudd in Our Idiot Brother. He also starred in the underrated ABC sitcom "Carpoolers." When not acting, Miller continues to perform standup comedy, and is currently touring the country. You can also check him out as the host of the new Comedy Central series "Mash Up." Follow TJ on twitter. Costaki Economopoulos
Costaki Economopoulos is a comedian, true, but he's also a football fan. Those two factors alone make him the perfect candidate to give us a comedic look back at the NFL each week with his new feature that's also been picked up by The Huffington Post and Bleacher Report. With his Greek heritage, it's not surprising that he's been described as a “joke philosopher,” and we're sure he's not the only one saying that. Costaki is also a talented joke writer who's punchlines have been heard on "The Tonight Show," Showtime, BET, and MTV. Follow Costaki on facebook and twitter. Tim Bedore
For longer than we can remember comedian Tim Bedore has been calling in or stopping by to deliver an editorial in which he talks about whatever happens to be on his mind. These musings can range from his relationship with his daughter, to hot topics in the news, and even updates on how the animal kingdom is waging war on mankind. From the Animal Conspiracy to his daughter Claire, Tim takes us inside his mind, and with the help of a few sound effects, puts together one of our favorite features. Follow Tim on Facebook.
