Thomas Haden Church
Imagine ThatBefore being approached for the film Sideways, Thomas Haden Church had pretty much retired from acting and was content to live and work on his ranch in Texas. But after taking the part, he was thrust back into the spotlight when he was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in the film. Since then, Church has gone on to star as Sandman in Spider-Man 3, won an Emmy for his role in the TV movie "Broken Trail" and has become the new voice of VW television ads. Church is also starring in the new Eddie Murphy film Imagine That, which opens this Friday in theaters everywhere. FACTOID - Before getting into acting, Thomas Haden Church was a radio DJ and voice-over talent. Bill Engvall
It was over a decade ago that Bill Engvall first became famous for his “Here’s Your Sign,” standup routine, and though that phrase helped launch into pop culture, it still can't compare with the fame that came from being part of the fab four known as The Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Then, after dabbling in film with Larry the Cable guy in Delta Farce, Bill returned to TV in his very own TBS sitcom, "The Bill Engvall Show". In other news, Bill is the new host of the game show "Lingo," on GSN. Follow Bill on twitter. Costaki Economopoulos
Costaki Economopoulos is a comedian, true, but he's also a football fan. Those two factors alone make him the perfect candidate to give us a comedic look back at the NFL each week with his new feature that's also been picked up by The Huffington Post and Bleacher Report. With his Greek heritage, it's not surprising that he's been described as a “joke philosopher,” and we're sure he's not the only one saying that. Costaki is also a talented joke writer who's punchlines have been heard on "The Tonight Show," Showtime, BET, and MTV. Follow Costaki on facebook and twitter. Check out his new article on the Bleacher Report. Vince Morris
With his clean, yet controversial material, Vince Morris doesn't rely on vulgarity or profanity to get an audience to laugh, he doesn't need to because he speaks from the heart. With a bright observational humor, passionate views and a smooth charismatic style, Vince has learned how to get in people's faces and make them think while keeping them in stitches at the same time. Covering everything from hip-hop to self-respect, Vince has been featured on "Showtime at the Apollo," "The Late Late Show," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," "Comic View" and "Sex and the City." He's performed in 43 states, 3 countries, and has been a member of the S.E.L.L.O.U.T. Comedy Tour.Billy D. Washington
Tell Us a Joke, You’re the Piano Man!
Billy D. Washington’s skills as a pianist are so great that many people come up to him after his shows and ask “man what are you doin’ here?” The reason he chooses to perform in comedy clubs instead of concert halls is because he’s just as good at writing and telling jokes as he is serenading an audience. Washington’s impressive resume of television appearances proves that it pays to be multi-talented.In other news, Washington is currently performing with the S.E.L.L.O.U.T. Comedy Tour.. Bob Biggerstaff
"Hey Buddy, it's Chili Time!" Originally from New York, Bob Biggerstaff moved to Houston, TX while he was a freshman in high school. Some say it was this diverse upbringing that gave him the insight to appeal to a wide variety of audiences, others claim it's his ability to write funny jokes. He’s been featured on HBO, Comedy Central, Sierra Mist’s Search for the Next Great Comic and even NBC’s "Last Comic Standing." If you're trying to remember which guy Biggerstaff was, he says he's the fat one with the glasses. Mike Speenberg
