Comedian Pat Dixon spends much of his time in New York City when he's not on the road performing. And while he's there, he often reads thew news. And being that he's a comedian, he can't help but have an opinion on the goings on in the world. And what better outlet for those stories, ripped from the headlines, than the BOB&TOM Show. In other news, Pat Dixon is has a brand new comedy CD titled, Goodbye Forever Fatty that is also now available on iTunes. Follow Pat on twitter and facebook and check out his new podcast, "The new York City Crime Report w/ Pat Dixon."
Davy Knowles & Back Door Slam
From the moment he heard Dire Straits sing “Sultans of Swing,” youngDavy Knowles knew he wanted to be a musician. But growing up on the Isle of Mann in the Irish Sea, his exposure to music was limited to his father’s old records and guitar magazines. Knowles' determination shined through as he became ‘the kid’ that played gigs with a number of older musicians. He continued to do this before eventually forming a band with his schoolmates, Back Door Slam. Now set to release a brand new album, Coming Up For Air, Knowles has become one of the veteran musicians young aspiring artist look up to. Knowles, PK and Steven Barci will be joining us in the studio to play a few tracks from their new album, which was produced by rock legend Peter Frampton
Greg Warren has been one of our favorite comedians since he first wandered into the studio and told us stories about finding bigfoot and playing the flute. But now you can learn even more about Greg with his new album, Running Out of Time. Greg has been featured on "The Late Late Show," "Last Comic Standing," and a number of appearances on Comedy Central. He's also a regular on the BOB&TOM Comedy Tour, and occasionally pops up on YouTube in comedy sketches. Follow Greg on Twitter and Facebook.
