Fuzzy Zoeller
One of the GreatsFuzzy Zoeller is one of the great characters and competitors in PGA tour history. He’s also one of the more successful. Over the course of his career, he’s won 10 PGA Tour events including the 1979 Masters and the 1984 U.S. Open, and he hasn’t slowed down one bit since joining the Champions Tour. Since joining the ranks of the other senior golfers, Zoeller has added another major (the 2002 Senior PGA Championship) along with four other tour wins. Outside of playing golf, Fuzzy enjoys hunting, fishing and designing golf courses. To date, he’s designed 19 golf courses, three of which are utilized on the PGA Tour. In other news, the Fuzzy brand has recently branched out into Vodka, and the world famous golfer has also teamed up with Vision Racing for this years Indianapolis 500. FACTOID – Fuzzy Zoeller’s Masters win is still the only victory posted by a Masters rookie. John Michael Higgins
Raising the BarFamous for his roles in the Christopher Guest films Best in Show, A Mighty Wind and For Your Consideration and for his stint on the NBC sitcom “Kath and Kim,” John Michael Higgins is heading to cable for a multi-episode run on the new TNT legal drama “Raising the Bar.” Higgins will be in good company on the network that has recently hit home runs with original series like “The Closer,” “Dark Blue” and “Saving Grace.” Along with Acting, Higgins is also a talented musician. He did all the vocal arrangements for his band in A Mighty Wind, and did the arrangement and sang backup for Ed Helms on an episode of “The Office.” In other news, Higgins can currently be seen in the new film The Ugly Truth. “Raising the Bar” airs Monday nights at 10/9c on TNT. FACTOID – John Michael Higgins portrayed David Letterman in the made for TV movie “The Late Shift” which took an interesting look at the decision to name Jay Leno as the new host of “The Tonight Show” after Johnny Carson stepped down. Comedy at the North Pole?While spending most of his formative years in the principal’s office, Rob Brackenridge had time to think about his future. With a skill set consisting of ‘class clown,’ comedy was the only suitable choice for a career. After moving to L.A. in 1992, Brackenridge has spent the time on the road, performing in most of the 50 states, and in over 10 countries as part of the Miller Lite “Lite Laffs” program. Rob’s TV credits include “Make Me Laugh,” “Stand-up, Stand-up” and he once performed at the North Pole with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
