Those that think all ukulele music sounds the same have never heard Jake Shimabukuro play. From the time he was four years old, Shimabukuro has been hooked on the uke, learning how to play jazz, blues, funk, classical, bluegrass, folk, flamenco and rock on his tiny four-stringed, two-octave instrument. From his modest beginning performing at local Honolulu café, Jake has gone on to play large venues and festivals across the U.S., Japan, Canada, Australia and Europe. Along with performing with Jimmy Buffett and Ziggy Marley, Shimabukuro has been featured on "The Today Show"," The Late Show," and NPR.
