Michael Kosta
He Just Wants to Be FunnyWay back in the first grade, Michael Kosta knew he wanted to be funny when he grew up. After meeting him for the first time early this year, we can safely say he has achieved that lofty goal. Formerly an athlete on the professional tennis tour, you can now find Michael in comedy clubs across the country as well as on TV in an episode of Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham. According to Kosta, you’ll know it’s him when you see the “very tall, very handsome, and very funny” guy. In other news Michael recently won a Michigan Emmy for his hosting duties on the second season of "CCHA All Access." Tammy Pescatelli
Not only is Tammy Pescatelli one of our absolute favorite female comedians, she also one of the busiest. After appearing on two seasons on NBC's Last Comic Standing, she's been featured on GSN's "Poker Royal" and US Weekly's Fashion Police, starred in her own Comedy Central Stand-up Special, appeared on "The Tonight Show" and performed on the USO Tour. Somehow during all that work she also found time to get married and have a baby. Much of her chaotic life as a new professional mom was featured in the WE Network reality show, "A Stand-Up Mother." Follow Tammy on twitter and facebook. April Macie
April Macie was the girl in high school that all the rumors were started about. And while some girls in that situation will turned to sports, food, or friends for comfort, April turned to comedy. Well, she turned to that and promiscuity. But now she’s figured out a way to combine both of her passions in to a comedic style that focuses on irreverent and overtly sexual humor that challenges society’s double standards. April was featured on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”, and was labeled an “emerging talent to watch” by the Hollywood Reporter. Follow April on twitter and facebook Christina Pazsitzky
With as much time as Christina Pazsitzky spends on television you’d wonder how she has time for stand-up at all. You can catch her each week on E1 on “Wildest TV Moments,” she was a member of MTV’s “Road Rules Australia,” was a regional finalist on “Last Comic Standing,” regularly appears on "Chelsea Lately" and is a featured comedian on Animal Planet’s “The A List.” She’s also a veteran of film having appeared in TV: the Movie with the boys from “Jackass” and as lent her voice to the animated films Strawberry Shortcake and Dr. Doolittle. On the stand-up front, Christina placed 2nd in California’s Funniest Female contest and was given the “Up and Coming Writer” award in Animation Magazine. Here's Christina's commercial.
