Joel McHale
Joel McHale has the type of job most of us would love to have. He spends the week watching television, then picks the funniest, most outrageous, and completely mindless clips to show us each week on his show "The Soup," (not to be confused with it’s predecessor, "Talk Soup") On the show, Joel skewers talk shows, reality TV, morning shows, and idiotic celebrities while at the same time poking fun at all things pop culture. When not in front of his television or the studio camera, Joel still finds time to perform stand-up comedy around the country. He’s also becoming quite the actor, having appeared on the shows "Pushing Daisies" and "CSI: Miami," and in the films The Onion Movie, Lords of Dogtown and in the hit sitcom, Community with Chevy Chase which airs at 8 p.m. every Thursday on NBC. Follow Joel on twitter. Greg Warren
Fans of the "Flute Man" and fans of digital downloads can now join forces as Greg Warren has finally entered the information age with the release of his new album, One Star Wonder, which is now available on iTunes. Comedy Central Records presents Greg's newest project which chronicles his life as a single guy who likes to eat alone, has a hard time picking up women, used to play the clarinet and doesn't like discounts at fancy hotels. Sure, there is more to his life than that, but you'll have to purchase the album to find out the rest. Follow Greg on Twitter and Facebook. You can also check him out alongside Bob Zany in the independent film 23 Minutes to Sunrise. Mike Rutherford
Genesis Live on CDFans of the legendary British rock band Genesis had better get their credit cards ready because the long-awaited box set Genesis Live 1973-2007 is finally here. The set gathers all four live albums recorded by the group from 1973 to 1992. It features brand new stereo mixes of the albums, including the highly anticipated re-release of Live At The Rainbow 1973 which is only available with this collection. Bassist and Guitarist Mike Rutherford will join us on the phone to talk about this ground-breaking project that will have Genesis fans dating all the way back to the Peter Gabriel years rejoicing, even if they can't dance. Mike Rutherford is one founders of Genesis, and one of only two constant members of the band. He was also the frontman of the band Mike + the Mechanics. Josh Arnold
As a 30-year old dude living in St. Louis, Josh Arnold is pursuing his dream of becoming a stand-up comedian. Arnold knew this was the path for him when he noticed he had a knack for sketch, stand-up and improv comedy, all good skills to have in this particular business. Will he be able to put those talents to good use when he makes his next appearance on the BOB&TOM Show? We'll just have to listen and find out. Follow Josh on facebook. Donnie Baker
He's been calling the BOB&TOM Show for years (whenever he can get away from his dick of a boss, Randy) and he's also released a number of CDs, but now you can finally see Donnie Baker live and in person. That's right, Dishman (Randy's boss, and the one that actually hired Donnie) has given Donnie some time off, which means he's now traveling the country, and bringing his unique brand of humor (and plenty of Mountain Dew and "Woof" shirts) to a town near you. Follow Donnie on twitter and facebook.
