Dave Coverly

Speed Bump

Cartoonist Dave Coverly is the man behind the popular cartoon panel, Speed Bump, which can be found in over 400 publications including the Washington Post, Toronto Globe & Mail, Detroit Free Press, Chicago Tribune and more. Of course, you may also recognize his work from the beautiful art he did for the new BOB&TOM Project, Dead Air. Coverly began his work as a cartoonist in 1986 while attending Easter Michigan University, then continued his craft while at Indiana University. His work at IU earned him the first of his collections of awards including Best Greeting Cards, Best Newspaper Panel and the Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist. He also colaborated on the children's book Sue MacDonald Had a Book.

Jef Mallett

If you saw copies of the BOB&TOM albums ManBoobs, Greetings From the USA, Radio Waves and Operation Radio and thought the art style looked familiar, you're probably a fan cartoonist Jef Mallett and his comic strip, Frazz. The strip centers around a young man named Edwin “Frazz” Frazier who hit it big as a songwriter, but decided to keep his job as the janitor of his old elementary school. Now he's not only a friend to both the students and staff, he's also the most well respected “educator” in the school. Frazz can be seen in papers around the country and is also in a number of book collections including the most recent Frazz: 3.1416. Speaking of books, Jef is also the author of the new book Trizophrenia: Inside the Minds of a Triathlete

Bob Zany

It's time for another exciting episode of the best joke filled, news feature hosted by a stand-up comedian named Bob Zany, The Zany Report. But the Report isn't the only thing you'll get when Bob calls in, we'll also find out where he's playing next, Bing Crosby will tell a joke, and some lucky fan will win prizes after fixing one Zany's less than successful punch lines. So you'd better tune it because it's going to be huge! In other news, Bob was recently featured in the Matt Damon film, The Informant! and is the star of the new documentary Close But No Cigar: Bob Zany. Follow Bob on Facebook and twitter.
