Davy Knowles
Davy Knowles & Back Door SlamFrom the moment he heard Dire Straits sing “Sultans of Swing,” youngDavy Knowles knew he wanted to be a musician. But growing up on the Isle of Mann in the Irish Sea, his exposure to music was limited to his father’s old records and guitar magazines. Knowles' determination shined through as he became ‘the kid’ that played gigs with a number of older musicians. He continued to do this before eventually forming a band with his schoolmates, Back Door Slam. Now set to release a brand new album, Coming Up For Air, Knowles has become one of the veteran musicians young aspiring artist look up to. Knowles, PK and Steven Barci will be joining us in the studio to play a few tracks from their new album, which was produced by rock legend Peter Frampton Kevin Bozeman
Comedy Without IssuesHaving come from a loving two parent home with a supportive family, and after never being in a crappy, debilitating relationship it's a wonder how Kevin Bozeman became a stand-up comedian. When he hits the stage it's not because it's therapeutic or because he's working through issues, it's because he enjoys telling jokes. Kevin is not only big on the comedy club scene, he's also appeared on Comedy Central and on CBS's "Star Search." So needly to say, he pretty much kicks ass. Dwight York
While it's easy to confuse some comics with one another, you'll never mistake "Vile File" mastermind Dwight York for anyone else. He's style of comedy and manner of misdirection make him one guy you'll never forget. York comes loaded with an endless onslaught of one-liners and short stories ranging from the innocent “They say gambling is a sin, but I’m betting god will forgive me,” to the slightly more bawdy “I brought home a woman from the bar last night but ended up passing out on the couch. I must've grabbed the wrong drink.” Many of these jokes are as fun to read as they are to listen to which is why Dwight has compiled the best of the worst and put them in his books, The Vile File and More From the Vile File.
