Tim Wilson

For years comedian, songwriter and philosopher, Tim Wilson has been joining us on the air and in that time has treated us to a number of classic tunes such as My Brother In-Law, I Could Be Wrong and Church League Softball Fistfight. And though he's one of our most frequent guests, it's still an adventure every time he stops by, thanks in part to his uncanny ability to find a story to go along with any topic of conversation. But as a warning, if you're even talking to Tim, try to avoid mentioning The Bible, NASCAR, credit cards or Jimmy Carter. In other news, Tim turned author and wrote a book about serial killer Ted Bundy which is now on sale. Pick up your copy of Happy New Year - ted today.

Ron Shock

The Great American Storyteller

Known as one of the great story tellers in comedy, "Tonight Show" veteran Ron Shock doesn’t have to write a lot of material, because almost all of his stories are true. When you’ve lived a life as adventurous as his, it’s almost impossible to make anything up. Before becoming a comedian, Ron studied to be a priest, was on a chain gang in Louisiana, was arrested for being a jewel thief, then spent time in prison. But that’s not all, when he got out of prison he became the VP of a Fortune 500 Company and an inventor who holds three patents in electronics. Now, with all that excitement behind him, Shock has turned to stand-up comedy and taken his tales on the road to clubs across the country.

Buzz Aldrin

Moon Walking With the Stars

Astronaut, scientist, inventor, best-selling author, advocate for man’s future in space, Buzz Aldrin is considered one of the greatest heroes of space exploration. On July 20, 1969, he and Neil Armstrong made their historic Apollo 11 moonwalk, becoming the first two men to step foot on the moon. Upon his return from the Apollo 11 mission, Buzz was decorated with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest American peacetime award. He has received three U.S. patents for his schematics of a modular space station, founded Starcraft Boosters, Inc., a rocket design company, and the ShareSpace Foundation, a nonprofit devoted to advancing space education. An accomplished writer whose work has appeared on the New York Times best-seller list, Buzz has most recently wrote an autobiography called Magnificent Desolation: The Long Journey Home From the Moon. In other news, Buzz will be one of the contestants on this season of ABC's wildly popular "Dancing With the Stars."

FACTOID - A number of things are named after Buzz including Asteroid "6470 Aldrin," "Aldrin Crater" on the moon and, of course, Toy Story’s infinitely popular spaceman—Buzz Lightyear. Also, The MTV Music Video Award, “The Moonman” was originally called “The Buzzy” and is shaped in his image.
