Voice of the DraftWhen the NFL Draft descends on Radio City Music Hall in New York City later this month, it will mark a year of firsts: it is the first time the draft will air LIVE, the first time it will air in Primetime, and it is the first time a woman will be the voice of ESPN’s coverage. This year, voice-over talent Kat Cressida will not only announce the ins and outs of the draft between commercials, but she will also be the voice of billboards and sponsorships for ESPN’s SportsCenter pre-NFL Draft special. Kat is no stranger to ESPN, which is also what made her the ideal choice. For the past nine years, you’ve heard her as the official voice of ESPN’s highest rated show, PARDON THE INTERRUPTION. It’s her distinct, unmistakable sound which made her the logical choice for this year’s NFL draft.
