Brian Posehn
Fart and Wiener JokesBrian Posehn’s got a look that’s hard to miss which is why most of his television guest appearances have been so memorable. He’s appeared on hit sitcoms such as NewsRadio, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond and Friends and has written for numerous others. Though he does keep busy acting, Brian is first and foremost a stand-up comedian. Not only has he been one of the big names (and big bodies) on the "Comedians of Comedy" comedy tour, he's also set to release a brand new comedy album, Fart and Wiener Jokes! Martin Sexton
A native of Syracuse, New York, Martin Sexton grew up in the 80's, uninterested in the sounds of the day, and fueled his dreams on the timeless sounds of classic rock and roll. Sexton eventually migrated to Boston, where he began to build his following singing on the streets of Harvard Square and gradually working his way through the scene. Over the years Martin has enjoyed success but in 2007/08 Sexton logged his most successful years to date with the release of his his album, Seeds. The album debuted at #6 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, and the Los Angeles Times writes, "Call him a soul shouter, a road poet, a folkie or a rocker and you wouldn't be wrong." His latest studio release, Sugarcoating, finds this one-of-a-kind-troubadour doing what he does best: locating larger truths within the specific details of the life he's living. Bill Nye
The Science GuyBill Nye, scientist, engineer, comedian, author, and inventor, is a man with a mission: to help foster a scientifically literate society, to help people everywhere understand and appreciate the science that makes our world work. Making science entertaining and accessible is something Bill has been doing most of his life. It was in Seattle that Bill began to combine his love of science with his flair for comedy, when he won the Steve Martin look-alike contest and developed dual careers as an engineer by day and a stand-up comic by night. This is where “Bill Nye the Science Guy” was born. The show appeared before Saturday Night Live and later on Comedy Central. While working on the Science Guy show, Bill won seven national Emmy Awards for writing, performing, and producing. The show won 18 Emmys in five years. In between creating the shows, he wrote five kids’ books about science, including his latest title, “Bill Nye’s Great Big Book of Tiny Germs.” Bill Nye is the host of three currently-running television series. “The 100 Greatest Discoveries” airs on the Science Channel. “The Eyes of Nye” airs on PBS stations across the country.
