Return of Jesse Stone

When you hear Tom Selleck is starring in a movie called Thin Ice, you might assume that Magnum PI was taking a trip up north, but that is not the case. However, our favorite mustached, 80s heartthrob is bringing back one of his more popular television characters, Jesse Stone, in this new CBS made-for-TV movie, Aside from the Jesse Stone movies, Selleck has become a regular on television. His other notable appearances include a reoccurring role on the hit seriesFriends, as the star of a number of critically acclaimed mini-series, as General Dwight D. Eisenhower in the made for TV movie, Ike: Countdown to D-Day and recently on the popular courtroom drama, "Boston Legal."

FACTOID – Tom Selleck’s first TV appearance was as a contestant on "The Dating Game" in 1967.

Jim Short

How many different accents can you fit into one standup comedian? Jim Short is attempting to find out. Originally from Australia, Short began doing standup comedy in Austin Texas, but is now based out of San Francisco. Whether or not the audience can understand him, Short is winning them over one joke at a time using a unique mix of personal observations on pop culture, world media, history, and television. The last time he was here, Jim shared with us his opinion on the little Microsoft paperclip that helps you write papers and let's just say it wasn't a favorable one. Follow Jim on twitter.

Leo Flowers

Flowers For the Ladies
