Richard Shea

According to the folks at Major League Eating (MLE), competitive eating is the next big thing in sports. Because hey, anyone can put a ball in a hoop, or catch a 30 yard bullet pass, but it takes a real athlete to down over 50 hot dogs in a twelve minute sitting. According to MLE President (and PR genius) Richard Shea, the best part of competitive eating is that there is no such thing as an off season. From the Glutton Bowl, to July 4th's Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest (covered on ESPN), the "athletes" of the MLE travel the country all year long, shoveling as much food into their mouths as is humanly possible. To celebrate Thanksgiving, the MLE is hosting its annual Whole Turkey Eat-Off. Major League Eating on Twitter.

FACTOID - The Nathan's Famous International Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Championship has been held each year on July 4 since 1916, according to archives.

Costaki Economopoulos

Costaki Economopoulos is a comedian, true, but he's also a football fan. Those two factors alone make him the perfect candidate to give us a comedic look back at the NFL each week with his new feature that's also been picked up by The Huffington Post and Bleacher Report. With his Greek heritage, it's not surprising that he's been described as a “joke philosopher,” and we're sure he's not the only one saying that. Costaki is also a talented joke writer who's punchlines have been heard on "The Tonight Show," Showtime, BET, and MTV. Follow Costaki on facebook and twitter. Check out his new article on the Bleacher Report.

Tom Segura

Tom Segura is a man on the move; he just can’t seem to stay in one place for very long. That might be why the life of a standup comedian sounded so appealing to him. After working as a volunteer in 12 U.S. states and in six foreign countries, Tom moved out to L.A. to pursue a career in stand-up. Since that time he’s made somewhat of a name for himself as both a comedian and an actor. Keep an eye out for Tom in a club near you, on Comedy Central’s "Live at Gotham" or in his short film Cutman.

FACTOID - Tom is married to lovely comedienne Christina Pazsitzky

James Franco

Let's Be Franco

Actor James Franco is most remembered for his roles in the blockbuster films of the Spider-Man Trilogy, as well as Knocked Up, Pineapple Express & Milk. But he's actually set to return to the small screen on ABC daytime’s “General Hospital” where he will reprised his role as bad boy performance artist Franco. He'll also be seen in the new film Eat Pray Love with Julia Roberts.
