Mark Morfey
When Mark Morfey made it as a PGA Golf Professional, you might have thought he had it all, but then, you would have been wrong. While golfing was one of his passions, he was still missing the thrill that only telling jokes in front of a live audience could provide. That left him with only one choice, become a standup comedian. Now Mark is both a Golf Pro and a standup comic, and loves his two professions equally (unless one starts paying better, then he has no problem picking a favorite). The way he describes it, both jobs are really about the same. They each require good rhythm and timing, and neither involve random drug testing. Drew Curtis
He plays soccer, lives in Kentucky, drinks a lot of beer and in his spare time he runs a website that’s visited by over 60 million people every month. The 'He' in that previous sentence is Drew Curtis, and he's the man behind the popular website, Fark.com. When not partaking in any of the aforementioned activities, Curtis spends his time pouring over the 2,000 new articles submitted to him every day in order to find the strangest, weirdest, funniest and most asinine news to link to. Along with news, Fark provides links to an array of odd pictures, sound clips and a multitude of other fascinating features that only the World Wide Web could provide. Fark.com has been mentioned in Time, Newsweek and Wired, and for some strange reason, it’s regularly featured on CBS Marketwatch. Curtis' popular website has also just been spun-off into a book, It's Not News, It's Fark. Fark on twitter. Felipe Esparza
The Last Comic StandingEast Los Angeleno Felipe Esparza was recently named the “Last Comic Standing” during the season seven finale of NBC’s hit reality show. And while this may be the biggest break in his career, Esparza has actually been performing for a long time now. Born in Mexico, Esparza grew up in East Los Angeles. He got his first taste of major exposure when he appeared in a Showtime “Diamonds in the Rough” segment two years ago. He has also appeared on the television series “Comics Unleashed,” “Premium Blend” and “Comics Without Borders.” Dan Mengini
The Amazing Mengini!Dan Mengini may sound like the name of a magician, but the way he gets audiences to laugh is no illusion. He may not be the next David Blaine, but he has been described as a guy who’s “too worried about too little, but not smart enough to do anything about it.” Dan has appeared in numerous TV spots, and is a regular in comedy clubs across the country. Dan’s jokes are also as fresh as they are funny because as he likes to say, if it’s been done before, you won’t see it at his show.
