Inspired by what he heard, it wasn’t long before Beck picked up a guitar and began playing around London and eventually replaced Eric Clapton as the lead guitarist for the Yard Birds. Beck left the band in 1967 and formed The Jeff Beck Group, which featured Rod Stewart on vocals and Ron Wood on bass. After that group disbanded, Jeff Beck continued to play music, earning a number of Grammys in the process. Currently, Jeff is out on the road promoting his new CD/DVD/Blu-Ray project, Jeff Beck's Rock 'n' Roll Party: A Tribute to Les Paul.
