Costaki Economopoulos

Costaki Economopoulos is a comedian, true, but he's also a football fan. Those two factors alone make him the perfect candidate to give us a comedic look back at the NFL each week with his new feature that's also been picked up by The Huffington Post and Bleacher Report. With his Greek heritage, it's not surprising that he's been described as a “joke philosopher,” and we're sure he's not the only one saying that. Costaki is also a talented joke writer who's punchlines have been heard on "The Tonight Show," Showtime, BET, and MTV. Follow Costaki on facebook and twitter.

Jeff Daniels

If you’ve never been down to the The Purple Rose Theatre for a "Live and Unplugged" show, you probably wouldn’t know that actor Jeff Daniels is also an accomplished musician. Though he’s been performing music for over 30 years, most people on know him from his roles in hit films like Terms of Endearment, Something Wild, The Hours and Dumb & Dumber. Jeff joined us in the studio a few years ago year when he released his album, Grandfather's Hat, and played a few of his favorite cuts. That's what we're hoping he'll do again now that he's back on the road, and promoting his new album Keep it Right Here.
Side Note: When asked about obscure movies Jeff has made, he recommends. Checking Out and Something Wild.

Alonzo Bodden

Though he didn’t begin his career as a standup comic, there is absolutely nothing that could ever make Alonzo Bodden give it up now. Once he took the stage and got a taste of what it was like to entertain, Bodden was hooked and has not looked back since. Before comedy, Alonzo was an airline mechanic, working on everything from Lear jets to Stealth Bombers. It was during one of his stints as a trainer that Alonzo found he could leave a crowd in stitches without even having to pick up a wrench. All he needed was a little motivation to turn his natural comedic talent into a career in standup. This came in the form of being fired. Since then, Bodden has been touring the country, as well as traveling around the globe with the USO. According to Alonzo, this means he is the only guy who’s both built bombers and performed for their pilots. Check out his new podcast "Who's Paying Attention?" and follow him on twitter and facebook.

Kyle Grooms

Best known for his hilarious half-hour stand-up special on Comedy Central and his guest appearances on VH-1, NBC's Last Comic Standing, and Chappelle's Show,Kyle Grooms delivers an honest and intelligent view of the world and gives an intimate look into his life experiences growing up in the American melting pot. Kyle has been featured on several television shows, including P-Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy, Jamie Foxx's Laffapalooza, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, The Byron Allen Show, BET Comic View, Red Carpet Fashion, and (for international flavor) Le Grande Journal in France.
