Here Come the Mummies
Not much is known about the individual men who make up the kooky, funky, R&B band known as Here Come the Mummies. For the most part this is due to their constantly wearing mummy attire while on stage, and having never revealed their true identities. But you don’t have to know who they are to enjoy their unique brand of rocking music and tongue-in-cheek sense of humor with songs like "Pants," "Attack of the Wiener Man", and "It's All About the Sugar." The band is typically comprised of ten mummified members who together have released five albums. They are also rumored to have a number of Grammy awards between them. Comedian and actor Jon Lajoie is one of the few comedians that's ever been able to turn a massive online following into a successful career. But when you can post a few videos and get over 300 million views, you must be doing something right. Born and raised in Canada, Lajoie got famous by posting his ironic comedy songs, many of which are less than radio friendly. This popularity led to his role as Taco on the hit FX comedy series "The League," and his very own "Comedy Central Presents" special. Follow Jon on Twitter and Facebook Bert Kreischer
