Prostate Exam
If you’re a man over 40, prepare to drop your drawers and assume the position because it’s everyone’s favorite part of the year, time for that always-exciting, annual prostate exam. In celebration of “Proctember,” our very own Gunner will offer up his bum to the probing finger of our licensed urologist, Dr. William Schwab, as an on-air reminder to men that they need to schedule their own appointment. For more information visit fightprostatecancer.org. Henry Cho
Coming from a family full of doctors, it was a shock to everyone (especially his father) when Henry Cho decided to become a standup comedian. It took about 18 months for his father to accept the news, but it was only after seeing his son perform on stage that his dad agreed with everyone else, Henry was impressive. As a headline comedian, Henry has performed all over the country. And last year Cho starred in his first ever solo Comedy Central Special, Henry Cho: What’s That Clicking Noise.” Henry is a full blooded Korean, but doesn’t speak a single word of his ‘native’ language. So instead of following in the footsteps of other ‘Asian comedian,’ Cho has decided to perfect an act that people of any ethnicity can enjoy. Follow Henry on twitter. Bob Zany
It's time for another exciting episode of the best joke filled, news feature hosted by a stand-up comedian named Bob Zany, The Zany Report. But the Report isn't the only thing you'll get when Bob calls in, we'll also find out where he's playing next, Bing Crosby will tell a joke, and some lucky fan will win prizes after fixing one Zany's less than successful punch lines. So you'd better tune it because it's going to be huge! In other news, Bob was recently featured in the Matt Damon film, The Informant! and is the star of the new documentary Close But No Cigar: Bob Zany which you can find here and pre-order the 2-DVD set here. Follow Bob on Facebook and twitter. Bob also has a new Podcast, "The Bob Zany Show" with Zan Aufdeerheide. Costaki Economopoulos
Costaki Economopoulos is a comedian, true, but he's also a football fan. Those two factors alone make him the perfect candidate to give us a comedic look back at the NFL each week with his new feature that's also been picked up by The Huffington Post and Bleacher Report. With his Greek heritage, it's not surprising that he's been described as a “joke philosopher,” and we're sure he's not the only one saying that. Costaki is also a talented joke writer who's punchlines have been heard on "The Tonight Show," Showtime, BET, and MTV. Follow Costaki on facebook and twitter.
