Jimmy Pardo
When comedian Jimmy Pardo enters a room he demands respect, and maybe some day he’ll get it. Combative, agitated and yet still historically funny, Jimmy is one of the finest stand-ups working today, though he still fells he never gets the love he truly deserves. Pardo is also no stranger to the small screen having popped up on a number of shows including "The Surreal Life," "Funny Money," "Movies at Our House" and a very memorable episode of "The Tonight Show." Oh, and if you ever invite Jimmy Pardo over to your house, make sure you don't cook anything, he can't stand the smell of food being prepared. Jimmy is also the star of his own podcast "Never Not Funny," and warms up the crowd each night for "Conan." He also hosts a video series for Conan in which he interviews guests backstage called "The Pardo Patrol." Follow Jimmy on twitter. Bill Scheft
A former stand-up comedian, Bill Scheft decided a number of years ago that he preferred writing the jokes to telling them. That's what's made him such a valuable asset to "The Late Show w/ David Letterman," where he's one of the head writers for Dave's famous opening monologues. He also contributed to the new book, The Late Show Fun Facts, authored by Letterman and the other Late Show writers. But this isn't Bill's only published work, he's also the author of three novels, The Ringer, Time Won't Let Me, and Everything Hurts which will be available in paperback on April 6th. His newest book is The Final Four of Everything. Check out Bill's band, The Truants. Follow Bill Scheft on twitter. And if you're a golf fan, you'll enjoy this book Bill put together of stories collected from his Uncle about The Masters. Bob Zany
It's time for another exciting episode of the best joke filled, news feature hosted by a stand-up comedian named Bob Zany, The Zany Report. But the Report isn't the only thing you'll get when Bob calls in, we'll also find out where he's playing next, Bing Crosby will tell a joke, and some lucky fan will win prizes after fixing one Zany's less than successful punch lines. So you'd better tune it because it's going to be huge! In other news, Bob was recently featured in the Matt Damon film, The Informant! and is the star of the new documentary Close But No Cigar: Bob Zany which you can find here and pre-order the 2-DVD set here. Follow Bob on Facebook and twitter. Bob also has a new Podcast, "The Bob Zany Show" with Zan Aufdeerheide.
