Back from their summer vacation, BOB&TOM talk to comedian Jim Gaffigan, author John Feinstein and comedian Josh Sneed. John Feinstein
John Feinstein is one of the most celebrated and enjoyed sports writers of all time. From the hardwood of basketball (A Season on the Brink), to the football gridiron (Next Man Up) and even the lushes green fairways of golf (A Good Walk Spoiled), Feinstein has covered and written a book on just about every major sporting event known to man, but he also occasionally writes mystery novels including Change-Up, Last Shot, Cover-Up and his newest book Rush for the Gold: Mystery at the Olympics. If you'd like to know more about Feinstein, check out his blog Feinstein On the Brink. Josh Sneed
Just a few short years ago Josh Sneed quit his ‘regular job’ at Procter & Gamble to pursue his dream of standup comedy. Since then, he's had his own Comedy Central's Special and appeared on Ed McMahon’s "Next Big Star" (two shows his other job wouldn't have landed him on). He finished 2nd out of 100 of Comedy Central's Stand-up Showdown, and released an album on iTunes through Comedy Central Records. Sneed’s other credits include writing and staringd in the film Let Me Be Blunt, starring in a commercial for the University of Kentucky and becoming the head comedy writer for a minor league baseball team. Whether talking about cake, bacon, wearing robes, or getting sick from eating hot pockets, Jim Gaffigan is one of the funniest men in America. Not only is he one of our favorite guests, he's also been a regular on Conan O'Brien's show, has appeared on a number of sitcoms and has released a number of fantastic comedy specials, including the new one available for download on his website, "Mr. Universe." Jim Gaffigan is currently on a cross-county tour so make sure to check out his website for upcoming show dates and locations, and pre-order his new book, Dad is Fat.
