It's been years since we've talked to SNL star and stand-up comedian Darrell Hammond, but when we got a call from him this morning, it was like no time had passed. Not only did we catch up, we also heard about his new book, God, If You're Not Up There... We were then treated to two of our old pals, comedians Roy Wood Jr. who was having issues with a Cpap machine, and Sean Morey who had tales from the sea. Darrell Hammond
After joining "Saturday Night Live" in 1995, comedian Darrell Hammond shot to stardom with his spot-on impersonation of President Bill Clinton among many others. Along with his record breaking 14-year stint SNL, Hammond has popped up on multiple "Law & Order" series, starred in the show "Damages" and films like Celtic Pride and Scary Movie 3, and is the author of the book, God, If You're Not Up There, I'm F*cked. Sean Morey
Comedian Sean Morey has been a friend of the BOB&TOM show for longer than we can remember and his songs have been popping up on our albums since the 80's. But we're not the only ones that enjoy his music; he recently placed first and third in the comedy division of the International Songwriting Contest with his tunes "Dear Santa" and "The A.D.D. Song." Along with those two favorites, Morey is famous for his other tunes "The Man Song," "The Woman Song," "The Man That Doesn't Exist" and "Dickin' Around at Work." Roy Wood, Jr.
Though recently featured as one of Entertainment Weekly's 12 comedian's to watch in 2009, we've known how great comedian Roy Wood, Jr. is for some timenow. He was featured on the first ever BOB&TOM Comedy Central special, is a regular on our Comedy All-Stars tour, and is a frequent guest in the studio. Known for his love of chicken nuggets and knack for prank phone calls, Wood is a regular contributor for a number of radio stations, was a semi-finalist on Star Search, has been featured on "The Late Show with David Letterman" and HBO. You can also find him on the new TBS sitcom "Sullivan & Son." Roy on twitter and facebook.
